@masked. You make really valid points. And I know we all are very irritated with Bani's obnoxious behavior towards Veeranshu, and her overall mood in general. But I have some points to add to your comments, and these are completely my opinion.

When it comes to grey, I have seen Bani and Veeranshu are both grey characters, but Bani is the one who has a darker shade, and Veeranshu has a lighter shade. As the story has progressed, we have seen instances of Bani being the darker one, with principles, though and Veeranshu only being the talker, but not doing the gory stuff we can expect of a dark Cheel. Amongst Veeranshu and Bani, Bani is more capable of hunt and kill than Veeranshu is. He has refrained from killing as long as it isn't absolutely necessary, like Shakura. He could have killed Jai, but Bani intervened, and even after that he spared him, did not touch or harm him. Bani, on the other hand, when it comes to killing, she will do it without batting an eyelid, like in Teer's case. She mistook him for Veeranshu, but if Shukla hadn't come, she would have killed him either way. Also, since her arrival at Singhania mansion, she has been looking for ways to provoke everyone, but it hasn't working according to plan.

Coming to brain, Veeranshu is superior here as well, because he is not blind or doesn't act on impulse or rage like Bani or his family. If he sees bad things about his family, he can see about Bani too. He can also see the good things in Bani, like her values, her principles, her ethical standards, her courage. He also knows that Bani blatantly lies to him and hides things. He has been hurt by Bani many a times by her words, but he has seen her attempt to protect an innocent (in her POV), exposed the mystery behind Teer's death. He has seen the same Bani who wants to kill him, also save him. He has seen her recognise the imposter pretending to be him. He has heard her jump off a window, but not be married to an imposter, because she herself said she is married. He has observed, experienced and felt a lot of things about Bani overall.

Finally speaking of love, Veeranshu will always be superior to Bani in this department too. Veeranshu is an upgraded Aakesh. Aakesh was just raw and all heart, but Veeranshu is polished with a functioning mind and heart. Even when he believed Bani killed his brother, he did not hurt her, that shows his superiority. He has been angry, confused, exasperated with her, but he still did not hurt her, that shows his superiority. Yes, he hates Nags and Naagins, he has been conditioned to do so, he will come to know Bani's reality and probably knows already, but still he won't hurt her. He could have an internal turmoil, but won't last too long, because Bani being unsafe or some other Bani's gesture to safeguard him or his own, will win him over, because he gets placated easily, when it comes to her. It takes a lot of courage for a man to know this person is your enemy, wants to hurt you, and you still love that person. It is so easy to hate, but very difficult to love. Bani chose her baseless hate, which is easy, but Veeranshu chose and will always choose love, which is difficult, but he will do it.

Coming to the show overall, there are so many shows where the leads are in a similar situation, but the girl is misunderstood and insulted, and mostly the guy is the one to hurt her all the time. And after all that she chooses to stand by the man, his family and protect them no matter what. And we are equally irritated with the girl. We expect redemption for the hero and the heroine just moving on with her life. But when has it ever happened in ITV shows. For some time and we are back to square one. Heroine and hero together again. If the hero is accommodating and loving and being the superior person here for once, why is it so difficult to accept?? We all love Veeranshu, but that is the very reason why we love him. He puts up with a family as wretched as his, so why can't he put up with Bani. Yes, he can be angry, he can be hurt, but he cannot stop being what he is, for no one. So expecting darkness from Veeranshu is not possible, he won't be. Expecting him to be too cold isn't possible. He is a different character, a different cheel, he only looks dark, but is filled with light, which he himself can't see. I don't know much about the prophecy of Veeranshu succumbing to or changing to light, but from where I can see, Veeranshu has more light in him than Bani does. It has kind of reversed in Kalyug. More than Bani being his light, it is Veeranshu who is Bani's light. Now how these two completely opposite people come together is what remains to be seen. I am actually more interested to see changes in Bani's overall persona and thought process. That's my two cents, sorry for ranting for too long.

Totally agreed👍🏼
