Forget about GK's face stuff runnin, it looks like it could positively drip!!!

Shame eh, just shows the power of airbrushing.....she looks nothing like the person on the front cover of vogue...

It's the strawberry milkshake lipstick that did it for me 😕 .....Yuk! 🤢

Ah well. makes me think if stars with all the dosh like her can "fudge it up" so beautifully, I stand a better chance of approval with the ole Max Factor meself! 😉

Miaoww!!! 😃

I havent read all the pages of this debate but from the few I have I wanna make a few points!
For someone who attends the filmfare every year and has seen the stark difference in the way it was carried out till the recent past and the way it is carried out now I'd say it is moving in the right direction!

One similarity that the filmfare and the oscars have always had are that they are the most important award ceremonies in the respective areas!

The Filmfare is now a formal event or what we call black tie. However being India, Indian formals are allowed but the dress code remains strictly formal. There are no dance performances (or very few) for the audience watching it, it is only for the telecast viewers. Also the filmfare is now an exclusive event by that I mean that not more than 600-800 people are able to attend it, all of which are the industry or invitees. Previously there were many thousands and it happened at the huge ground in Bombay, now it happens indoors in an auditorium kind of setting.

So though many people may call Filmfare frivilous in comparison to the Oscars I'd beg to differ cos the change is happening. I dont agree with having so many awards and that is one reason why they have become some what a joke with probably only the Filmfare remaining an award one values a lot and this trend with continue seeing the changing face and the incoming seriousness of and for the filmfare.
