Hi guys I am here with my first ever fan fiction on RiAnsh.
I am not that good in writing like others on the forum. Writing something after almost 6 months.
A special thanks to Eesha and Gauri who had given the prompt for this KP turned into an OS.
I would like to thank each and everyone on the forum for motivating and especially all the writers on the forum whose RiAnsh stories inspired me to write again.

RiAnsh OS - Tu Hi Mere Rab Ki Tarah Hai
Its the evening before Karva Chauth and since Vansh recovered from poison attack and all the attacks on her own self, Riddhima wanted to keep Karva Chauth fast for him, for his safety and long life and to safeguard their relationship and give their relationship a new start. She was wondering that in the starting phase of their marriage she kept Teej vrat to get success in her mission to bring this man down whom she considered a criminal and send him behind bars and how tables have turned and she wants to keep Karva Chauth vrat for him. She didn’t tell him the reason why she wanted to keep vrat.
The idea of Riddhima keeping fast and staying without food and water the whole day didn't go down well with Vansh, being an atheist he is adamant for her not to keep it. As he doesn’t believe in it. And they both were arguing on the same matter.
Riddhima - Vansh tum meri baat kyun nahi maan rahe ho. Mujhe yeh vrat rakhna hai..
Vansh - Maine kaha naah Riddhima tum koi vrat nahi rakhogi..
Riddhima - Par kyun?
Vansh- Main inn sab main vishawas nahi karta. So please meri umra badhane ke liye tumhe pura din bhukha rehne ki koi zarurat nahi hai..Aur mujhe pata hai tumse bhukh bardaasht nahi hoti. Kitni baar toh tum behosh ho chuki ho Riddhima. And I don’t want to take any chances with your health.
Riddhima is happy seeing his caring side. But she is adamant to keep the vrat.
Riddhima - Par Vansh mujhe rakhna hai vrat. Dekho naah yeh shaadi ke baad humaari pehli Karwa Chauth hai. Please mujhe vrat rakhne do naah.. please ..
and makes a puppy face.
Vansh - Sweetheart try something different. Ab main tumhaare aise muh banaane se koi baat maanane wala hoon nahi. Tum vrat nahi rakh rahi and thats final.
He leaves from there.
Riddhima - Khud ko samajhta kya hai Vansh?? Aur mujhe bol kar gaya ki main bhukhi nahi reh sakti.. Balki bhukha rehne par uska khud ka dimaag ka paara high ho jaata hai.. Huh.. Akdu kahin ka.. Main vrat rakhungi.. Dekhti hoon kaise rokta hai mujhe. Tum ziddi ho Mr. Vansh Raisighania toh main bhi Mrs. Raisinghania hoon tumse double ziddi.
In his study .
Vansh ( in his mind) - Bhukh toh bardaasht hoti nahi hai aur madam ko vrat rakhna hai bhukha-pyaasa rehna hai that too for the sake of an age old custom. Jaise bhukha-pyaasa rehne se meri umra 100 saal ki ho jaayegi. Jab pati hi nahi chaahta toh phir usko itni zid kya hai.?? Pata nahi khud ko kya samajhti hai.
After finishing his work he comes back to his room at night and finds Riddhima asleep on her side of bed. He sits besides her on their bed and looks at her with adoration.
Vansh - Kamaal hai roz toh madam der raat tak jaagti rehti hai, aur aaj itni jaldi so gayi? Shaayad thak gayi hogi. Waise bhi sweetheart tum kitna kuch sambhalti ho ghar, family aur mujhe bhi.. and smiles.
(In his mind)
Mujhe uss par is tarah gussa nahi hona chaahiye tha. Koi baat nahi kal subah use achhe se sorry bol dunga.
Thinking this he gives a quick peck on her hair being careful not to disturb her sleep, he too slips on his side of bed and drifts to sleep looking at his wife's serene face which has a hint of mischievous smile. Which brought a smile on his face too.
It was around 4.30 am in the morning before dawn and Riddhima opens up her eyes with a vibration sound of her phone. She grabs her phone from the side table and checks and it was Sia calling her. She cuts the call and tries to get up but feels her husband’s arm around her waist. She carefully lifts his arm, without disturbing his sleep and places it on a pillow. She gets up slowly without making any noise and tip toes to the bedroom door and opens it to find Sia there who brought sargi with her. Ridz puts finger on her lips and signals Sia to stay silent as Vansh is sleeping and takes the tray and entered back in the room slowly closing the door behind.
She was about to place the tray on the coffee table and just about to have her first bite she heard a voice in deep baritone which startles her..
Vansh - Sweetheart. Mere manaa karne ke baad bhi tum mujhse chhupkar vrat rakh rahi ho?
Riddhima - Vansh please mujhe yeh vrat rakhna hai shaadi ke baad humaari pehli Karva Chauth hai. Aur daadi bhi chaahti hai ki iss ghar ki bahu yeh vrat rakhe. Aur main daadi ka dil todna nahi chaahti.
Vansh - Main daadi se baat karta hoon.
Riddhima - Nahi Vansh please. Dekho abhi mujhe sargi kha lene do aur abhi subah ke 5 bhi nahi baje hai tum thodi der so jaao main bhi khane ke baad thodider so jaungi.
Vansh was happy that Riddhima doesn't want to break his daadi's heart as she has considered his family as her own but after a second got very angry that she went against him and keeping this Vrat.. In anger he turns his face on the other side and sleeps.
Riddhima (to herself) - Gussa ho gaya mujhse ,but jab woh uthega tab main use sorry kehke manaa lungi..
Riddhima had her sargi and then again goes to bed. Soon she drifts to sleep. She wakes up after couple of hours.She puts her hand on the other side of the bed and found it empty.
Riddhima - Yeh Vansh kahaan chala gaya? Shayad bathroom mein ho. Vansh Vansh??
She gets out of bed. Calling out his name she searches him everywhere in their room but he is nowhere to be seen. She tried to call him. But his phone was not reachable.
Riddhima - Yeh Vansh ka phone kyun nahi lag raha hai. Shayad woh ready ho kar niche chala gaya ho.
She quickly gets ready and reaches downstairs. Even couldn’t find Vansh there on breakfast table. She searches him in every room downstairs.In his study and even kitchen. She saw daadi in the living area and asks her about him.
Riddhima - Daadi aapne Vansh ko dekha?
Daadi - Nahi beta, aaj toh Vansh subah se dikhaayi nahi diya. Kya hua?? Shaayad study mein hoga.
Riddhima - Wahaan bhi nahi hai daadi. Aur Vansh ka Phone bhi nahi lag raha.
Then suddenly a staff came and informed them that Vansh has already left for the office.
Riddhima ( in her mind) - Itni jaldi office chala gaya? Woh bhi bina bataaye??
She gave a nervous smile to daadi and went to her room to grab her phone n try to call him again.
Riddhima - Yeh Vansh ka phone kyun nahi lag raha hai?
She gets worried, closes her eyes and holds her mangalsutra praying to god for his well being and suddenly remembers something and dial Angre’s number.
Angre - Hello. Bhabhi aapne iss waqt call kiya ghar pe sab thik hai naah?
Riddhima - Haan Angre sab thik hai . Maine yeh puchhne ke liye call kiya tha ki Vansh ka call nahi lag raha. Woh subah bina bataaye office ke liye nikal gaya. Mujhe fikar ho rahi hai.Sab thik hai naah? Vansh thik hai naah?
Angre - Haan bhabhi sab thik hai woh aaj ek important deal ki meeting thi toh humein jaldi nikalna pada aur boss meeting mein busy hai isliye shayad phone nahi lag raha hoga. Aap tension mat lijiye.
Riddhima - Oh thank god. Thank you Angre. Jab woh meeting se free ho jaaye toh please Vansh se kahiyega ki mujhe call kare.
Riddhima was relieved after talking to Angre and heard a knock on the door. And daadi enters their room with a package in her hands.
Daadi - Riddhima beta sab thik hai naah?? Woh Vansh??
Riddhima - Haan daadi sab thik hai. Meri Angre se abhi baat huyi abhi Vansh ko zaroori meetings attend karni thi isliye aaj jaldi chala gaya.
Daadi - Chalo shukar hai. Achha beta yeh lo. Aaj shaam ko vrat kholte samay tum yeh pehanana.
Riddhima takes the package daadi had given her. And opens it it contains a beautiful red silk saree.
Riddhima - Daadi yeh?
Daadi - Beta yeh Vansh ke maa ki saree hai. Yeh maine use di thi jab woh iss ghar mein bahu bann kar aayi thi. Aur tumhaare alawa aur kisika iss par haq nahi. Agar aaj Uma hoti toh woh bhi shaayad yehi karti aur woh bahut khush hoti apne bete aur bahu ko dekh kar aur tumhaare jaisi itni pyaari aur guni bahu ko paa kar..
Riddhima - Bahut hi beautiful aur pyaari saree hai daadi. Thank you mujhe iss laayak samajhne ke liye ki main Vansh ke maa ki nishani ko pehan saku. Thank you mujhe yeh haq dene ke liye. Meri khud ki maa ki toh koi nishaani nahi hai mere paas par main ise sambhaal kar apne paas rakhungi. Thank you.
Riddhima was happy and grateful to daadi that she has considered her worthy to have it which is rightfully Vansh’s mom’s.Tears were brimming at the corner of her eyes. Then daadi cups her face and pats it.
Daadi - Meri pyaari bacchi yeh sab tumhaara hi toh hai.. Yeh ghar, yeh parivaar sab kuch, aur main kya sirf Vansh ki daadi hoon? Teri kuch nahi lagti?
Riddhima - Nahi daadi. Aap hum sab ki daadi hai.
Daadi holds her face and give her a forehead kiss and blessed her. and Riddhima smiles. Daadi puts a kaala teeka behind her ear.( to ward off the evil eyes)
Daadi - Bhagwaan se bas yehi prarthana hai ki meri bacchi humesha aise hi khush rahe. aur use kisi ki bhi nazar na lage.
Here Vansh was busy in back to back meetings n he didn’t had breakfast in the morning n even didn’t get time to a grab a cup of coffee or to have a lunch. His anger was riling up inside him.
Vansh came home in the evening . He sees the whole house has been decorated beautifully for the occasion of Karva Chauth. His eyes were searching for his wife to get her glimpse.But he couldn’t find her. Sia saw her brother looking everywhere searching for something and understood that he is searching for Riddhima.
Sia - Bhai aap jise dhoondh rahe hai woh apne room mein hai.
Vansh startles n be alert .
Vansh - Huh.. woh.. Woh main daadi ko dhundh raha tha. Mujhe unse kuch kaam tha.
Sia ( in teasing tone) - Achha ? Daadi apne room mein hi hai. Aur woh aapko bula bhi rahi hai.
Vansh - Thik hai main daadi se mil kar aata hoon.
Vansh goes to Daadi’s room and daadi became happy after seeing her grandson.
Daadi - Aa gaya tu Vansh. Beta kab se tumhaari raah dekh rahi thi main..
Vansh - Daadi Sia ne bataaya ki aapko mujhse kuch kaam tha??
Daadi - Haan beta.
Daadi goes to her wardrobe locker and takes out a jewelry box. And gives it to Vansh. Which has a beautiful necklace and another one had a beautiful maang tika.
Daadi - Vansh beta yeh humaare khandaani gehne hai. Aaj tum dono ki shaadi ke baad pehli Karva Chauth hai naah. Toh ghar ki badi bahu ko yeh meri taraf se shagun . Aaj Riddhima yehi haar aur maang tika pehnegi. (gives him the boxes and puts her hand his arm) Aur tum use apne haatho se yeh pahenana. Achha shagun hota hai beta. Apni daadi ki itni baat toh maanega naah beta.
Vansh - Haan daadi. Aapki baat kabhi maine taali hai daadi??
Daadi - Tabhi toh tu inn sab mein mera sab se pyaara beta hai..Jaa beta jaldi jaa aur taiyyaar ho jaa.Thodi der mein chaand nikal aayega aur vrat kholne ka samay bhi ho raha hai..
Vansh - Ji daadi.
Vansh leaves from there and reached to his room. And the sight in front of him was mesmerizing. Riddhima was standing in front of the mirror looking eternal and he noticed she was wearing his mother’s red saree..And palms of her hands adorned beautiful henna design. She was struggling to tie the dori (string) of her blouse.
He put the boxes of jewelry on the table over side and quickly takes long strides and reached behind her.
Riddhima was struggling with the dori and she felt a pair of hands there she looks into the mirror and stunned to see Vansh standing behind her. Both their eyes are locked with each other in mirror. Vansh pushes her hair on the side , Riddhima's breath hitched at his touch , he grabs the dori from her hand and while looking into her eyes through her mirror ties it. They both can see unknown feelings of love , care, concern, desire in each other’s eyes.
Vansh takes off his eyes once he is done with tying the dori. Riddhima didn’t like the breaking of their eyelock. As soon as she tries to turn to face him she felt his hands on her shoulders and he makes her sit down on the stool. He picks up the jewelry boxes which daadi had given him and keeps them over the dresser and opens them. Riddhima looks confused that what is he doing? She opens her mouth to say something but he shushed her.
Vansh - Shhh.. Riddhima ...Daadi ne yeh diya hai aur kahaa hai ki aaj tum yeh pehnogi.
And picks up the necklace while both of them looking at each other for another eye lock and he makes her wear it without breaking the eye contact in the mirror.. He picks up the maang tika too. And saw that she hasn’t put sindoor in her hair parting yet. He grabs the small box of sindoor, picks a pinch of it and fills her hair parting and Riddhima closes her eyes to feel the moment.All the flashes of the moments of him putting vermilion in her hair parting were running in front of both of their eyes. During their wedding, during teej, after the shoot out and during Ishani's wedding.
She felt content and butterflies in her stomach. After this Vansh made her wear the maang teeka. He sees his mother’s anklets too which he gifted Riddhima during Ishani’s sangeet on the dressing table . He bends on his knees and puts her feet on his knee and make her wear the anklets.
After finishing it and breaking the eye contact , Riddhima opens her mouth to say something but before she could he gets up and goes from there to change. Leaving Riddhima confused.
Riddhima - Achanak se yeh Vansh ko kya ho gaya?? Abhi toh achha bhala mujhe yeh sab jewelry pehna raha tha aur ab achanak se chala gaya. Na kuch kaha na suna. Kya abhi bhi naaraz hai mujhse? Aaj subah bhi main us se sorry nahi keh paayi. (She smiles to herself and utters ) Par koi baat nahi Mr. Vansh Raisinghania there is a surprise waiting for you today. Aur uske baad humaare beech koi naraazgi nahi rahegi.
Here Vansh has changed himself into a ethnic traditional outfit.
Riddhima was called to the main hall by daadi to finish all the rituals before the moon can be seen.
All the arrangements of the ritual was done at the terrace of VR mansion.

The whole Raisinghania clan gathered at the terrace . Riddhima too goes there with daadi and Sia.
When the moon appears chachi couldn’t contain her excitement.
Chachi - Dekho chaand nikal aaya hai.. Haaye kab se main bhukhi pyaasi hoon. Suniye Aryan ke papa aap zara jaldi se sab rasamein khatam karna mujhe bahut bhukh lagi hai. Haaye ab mujhse naa ruka jaayega..
Listening her Riddhima and Sia chuckled at her antics and tried to control their laughter, Chacha felt embarrassed , Ishani and Aryan rolled their eyes, Angre smiled looking at all of their expressions and daadi glared at chachi to shut her up.
Daadi - Chalo ab sab pati patni saari rasam puri karo aur apna vrat kholo.
Chacha - Chachi and Angre- Ishani stands there near the arrangements.
Daadi - Yeh Vansh kahaan reh gaya??
AP - Mummy ji aapko pata hai naah Vansh ko yeh sab pasand nahi hai.
Daadi - Vansh ne mujhse vaada kiya hai ki woh zaroor aayega. Mera beta apni daadi ki baat kabhi nahi taalega ,mujhe uss par pura bharosa hai.
Riddhima tries to handle the situation.
Riddhima - Daadi woh shaayad taiyaar ho raha hoga main abhi dekh kar aati hoon.
Here on the other hand Vansh comes to their bedroom to get his cellphone.
He found a folded paper note kept beneath it. He opens it and found that his wife had left this handwritten note for him. A smile forms on his lips while reading it,
Dear Vansh,
Main jaanti hoon tum mujhse naaraz ho. Aur tumhaari naraazgi jaayaz bhi hai. Main jaanti hoon ki tumhe yeh sab rasm aur rivaaz pasand nahi hai aur tumhaare mana karne ke bawajood bhi maine yeh vrat rakha hai and I am apologizing for that. Par main daadi aur poore family ko naraaz karna ya unka dil dukhaana nahi chaahti thi.
Humaari shaadi ke baad yeh pehla Karva Chauth hai aur yeh mere liye bahut maayne rakhta hai Vansh. Yeh vrat maine humaare liye rakha hai Vansh , hum dono ke liye, Dil se. Aur main chahti hoon main yeh vrat tumhe dekh kar hi kholu. Tumhaare liye ek chhota sa surprise hai. So please tum poolside aa jaana, main tumhaara wait karungi.
Tumhaari Riddhima.
He was happy reading the note. He felt a different kind of joy by knowing the Riddhima considers his family as her own and a new found feelings that this is the first time someone has done something for HIM.
He folds the note and puts it inside his wallet. As it was the first time his beloved wife has written something for him.
He also wanted to know what surprise is awaiting for him and planned by his wife.
Vansh was about to go to poolside but he gets a call on his phone he wanted to ignore it but it was regarding an important business matter he can not avoid so he has to attend it. While talking on the phone he moves towards his study.
Here on the other hand Riddhima leaves from terrace and searches Vansh everywhere but she couldn’t find him. She goes to their room to search for him but he is not there and she finds her note missing too.
Riddhima - Vansh ne shaayad note padha hoga aur woh poolside gaya hoga.
She rushed from their and goes to poolside. She searches everywhere but she couldn’t find him. She looks at the moon and feeling upset. She looks at terrace and sees all the happy couples fulfilling their rituals. She looks around at the decorations and arrangements which she herself did to surprise Vansh. She felt sad , and tears were started brimming in her eyes.
Riddhima - Vansh tum kahaan ho?
In study ..
The phone call was taking long and Vansh was being restless. He was getting impatient to be with his wife. When the phone call was about to end he quickly moves towards the poolside.
He reached there and looks around and surprised by the beautiful decorations and arrangements done my his equally beautiful wife.
When he was few steps away he found her, sulking and looking at the moon longingly... He was about to go to her his phone rang again. Which broke his reverie.
He picks up the call and he got really angry on the caller for disturbing his moment.
Vansh (angry and yelling) - Maine Mr. Khurana se kaha tha ki woh file important hai kal ki meeting ke kiye aur woh kal mujhe ready chaahiye. Then why you are calling me for these petty issues , you should call Mr. Khurana instead. And don’t you dare to disturb and call me at these odd hours.
Hearing his voice broke Riddhima’s reverie and she looks at his direction. She couldn't believe her eyes that he is here. As she thought he won't come as all the family had retired to their room after finishing the ritual. He reached to his wife in few long strides.
He looked at her and she was looking breathtakingly beautiful.
Riddhima - Vansh..
He puts his finger on her lips. And asks her.
Vansh - Abhi tak mujhse naaraz ho?
Riddhima nodded her head in negation.
Vansh - Abhi vrat ke rituals complete kare?
Riddhima blinks her eyes and nodded her head in YES.
Vansh removes his finger for her lips. And takes her hand in his and takes her to near arrangements she had made.
Riddhima lights diya and pour water into the earthen pot. She takes the sieve and looks at moon through sieve. Then she offers water too the moon. Throughout the rituals Vansh was gazing lovingly at his beautiful wife performing the rituals. Riddhima looks at Vansh through sieve and they have an eye lock and prays to bappa for his long life.
Vansh lifts the earthen pot and makes Riddhima drink the water. While looking each other’s eyes. Riddhima knew even Vansh haven’t had water or food since morning. She took the pot and puts on his lips. Lifting his eyebrows he asks her the reason.
Riddhima - Main jaanti hoon Vansh ki tum bhi subah se bhukhe aur pyaase ho.
Vansh was surprised that how she came to know that. He drinks water from her hand. He gives a sweet to her and she makes him eat the half of it.
Vansh - Tumhe kaise pata chala ki maine subah se kuch nahi khaya??
Riddhima - Woh tum phone par gussa kar rahe the naah usse..( in teasing tone) Aur koi mujhse keh raha tha ki mujhse bhukha rahena bardaasht nahi hota.. and starts giggling.and starts running.
Her laughter was music to his ears.
Vansh - Riddhima ab tum nahi bachogi. And starts running behind her to catch her.
Finally he catches her and looks into her eyes.
Vansh - Riddhima. Ek baat kahu??
Riddhima - Kya?
Vansh - Mere mom ki saree ko agar koi khoobsurat bana sakta hai toh woh tum ho Riddhima.
Hearing this Riddhima’s cheeks turns crimson.
Vansh pulls her into a hug. Riddhima too reciprocates.
After a minute they broke the hug.
Vansh - Abhi khaana kha le?? Subah se pet mein chuhe daud rahe hai. ( pauses ) Tumhaare.. and starts laughing.
Riddhima makes a face and hits on his arm.
Riddhima - Ha ha..Very funny.
She holds his hand and brings him to the poolside where there was a mattress and beautiful gazebo style decorations. With aromatic candles lit around and decorated with mirrored work dangling and roses and rose petals around. She makes him sit there and gets the food trolley there. She was about to turn and goes to bring another plate but Vansh holds her hand and stops her, he signals her to sit beside him.
He serves all food on the plate and ask her to have it. She pouts.
Vansh - Riddhima tumne vrat rakha hai naah aaj aur subah se kuch khaya - piya bhi nahi hai.
Before he could say anything else. Riddhima puts her finger on his lips.
Riddhima - Pehle tum khaoge. Tumne bhi toh subah se kuch nahi khaya Vansh. Tumne bhi toh aaj galti se vrat rakh liya.
Both of them smiles.She removes her finger from his lips.
Vansh - Riddhima. Okay thik hai ek kaam karte hai aaj Karva Chauth ke din hum dono apne haatho se ek- dusre ko khana khilaate hai tab toh mana nahi karogi naah..
He takes a bite and takes to her mouth.
Riddhima staring at him and have it.
Riddhima - Tum bhi toh khaao and takes a bite of naan and dips into the gravy and feeds him.
He gazes at her lovingly.
And they have their food feeding each other at poolside.. After finishing the food they both sits there gazing at each other lovingly.
Vansh - Waise ek baat kahu??
Riddhima - Kaho.
Vansh - I am impressed sweetheart. Mrs.Vansh Raisinghania ka yeh surprise Mr. Vansh Raisinghania ko pasand aaya.
Riddhima - Mr. Vansh Raisinghania ke muh se meri taarif . Interesting . Very very interesting . And starts laughing.
Vansh ( in teasing tone) - Mere level ka toh nahi hai but its good. And starts smirking.
Riddhima takes a throw pillow and throws at him which hits him.
Vansh - Ouch..Arey ab yeh kis liye?
Riddhima - Aise hi mera mann kiya.
Vansh - Achha? Holds her hand and pulls her closer to him. Riddhima feels her cheeks turns red. Vansh cups her cheek and graze his thumb over it. He gives her a kiss on her forehead .
Vansh - Thank you Riddhima.
Riddhima - Thank you? Kis liye??
Vansh - Mujh par trust karne ke liye. Aur humaare rishte ko ek mauka dene ke liye.
Riddhima - Vansh kya aaj hum dono Karva Chauth ke mauke par ek dusre ke saath aur vishwaas ke saath humaare rishtey ki ek nayi shuruwaat kare?
Vansh (while grinning) - Absolutely sweetheart. Any doubts?
Riddhima smiles after hearing Sweetheart from his mouth which was not sounding like a mockery anymore.
Riddhima - No doubt Mr. Vansh Raisighania..
Vansh (smiles ) - Interesting, very very interesting Mrs.Riddhima Vansh Raisinghania..
He takes her in a side hug and she hugs him from his waist and puts her head on his shoulders. Vansh was looking at their entwined fingers and kissed them. He looks at her and turns on the music system. They both looks at the moon.
And the music system was playing the song which was apt for them and the moment they were sharing..
