Rewatched Vishal Bhardwaj's Haider on Netflix a week ago. The film is wonderful and for me very rewatchable.
But I still find the ending pretty vague. Like, the director wants to imply something but does in a very subtle way.
What happens with Haider then? Does it imply that he will be forever insane or join the militant groups.
What is the deal with Roohdaar? One can sense that he comes across as an unreliable narrator. Does the ending hints that he manipulated haider against his own family for some personal gains.
Or is the ending just a metaphor for the then situation in Kashmir.
