Correct! Then why was he trying to brainwash Kunal into agreeing to marry kuhu or Mishti?
Meenu never really wanted either son to get married. She was against marriage in general especially against love marriage. She was bitter about her own experience of marrying for love and getting betrayed. She got Kunal’s first engagement canceled by paying off Shweta. She thought Abir would never even agree to get married. 😆Then she could control Kunal and if at all, get him married to a Gaye bahu so she can still control them.

It totally was. When I watched that promo, i had no idea of this show's story and I thought this was about a girl(mish) ditching a guy(abir) for another guy and that intrigued me.

I have just started with epi 4, so will comment on remaining part in a bit

@ temple - now after knowing it wasn't a set and authentic site, I have actually started admiring their initial site selection more! A show that started on such a good note, i dont understand why the PH went so bhikhari for it towards the end not even a single outdoor, even to ooty or manali let alone foreign destinations :(

PH didn’t appreciate the beautiful show they had created, they didn’t like its viral popularity and Mishbir getting more popular than their favored Jodi. They didn’t spend even a bit on Mishbir!

The initial shooting locations, the music video at the Runn, even the costumes and jewelry, they were spending normally then suddenly cut down on expenses and after lockdown went on total budget mode.

Before discussing episode 4, once more I want to mention how well picturized the temple scene was, Mishti Abir’s hide and seek amongst the pillars, captured by overhead drone. The cinematography/Direction/DOP of this show is excellent. Even if time/place logic is lacking due to script.

Episode 4- Rhea is really a chameleon, she looked so different in those glasses and frocks in early episodes, almost like a schoolgirl. When she reproaches her dad for abandoning her she looked like a kid, hurt and angry! Tears were spilling over inspite of her brave words rejecting him for leaving her behind.

Why is BP so unconcerned about Mishti not returning? He was chiding BM for worrying about Mishti and reminding her to pay attention to Kuhu. 😕Why would Kuhu need another person to fawn and fuss over her when Varsha Jas were already clucking around her?
MishKu’s sister act when Mish returns 😆 that’s how they’ve been fooling the already delusional mah family for so many years!

The Piya Piya song sequence is not that bad. At least better than the Rishta aya hai rap 🤪

Were MishKu supposed to perform Piya Piya at the Kutch Utsav?

Kunal tricks Abir and Meenu to come to the temple to get them to patch up. Nanu took a selfie of Abir holding Meenu’s hand up the steps.😆

The temple was beautiful with classic architecture . That must be the phase when the unit was shooting in actual locations near Bhuj and Rajkot, then they moved to Film City and the same old temple was used which is seen in every serial

Rhea looked drastically different in these episodes compared to recent episodes..she is indeed a chameleon

lol yeah I think they were gonna perform piya piya at the kutch utsav but thank goodness they didn't. Mishti's solo performance was way better than this. Oh gosh the rishta aya rap 😆

Yeah it was definitely misleading. It got me intrigued because I wanted to know the reason behind mishti ignoring abir and going for a new guy

Both Meenu and Nanu were sure Abir the Banjara won’t get married 😆 That the vagabond didn’t want responsibilities. But he was the one to fall in love first and head on 😆

Robot 😆 The dialogues in this show are so witty! Another reason to love it!

I like how abir and nanko used to drink milkshake/buttermilk so coolly as if it was beer 😆

Yeah BP's indiffferent towards mish initially is not understandable...the way he says 'aa jayegi" as if she was returning from a market and not another city after months.

Who was meenu talking about when she said "ek beta toh shaadi karega but dusra abhi taiyyar nahi hai" 😕 wasn't kunal not ready? so was she saying abir shadi karega? 😕

@mish-naman scene - you were right @pallavi di, about rhea's easy role changing from a playful girl to a serious daughter within 1 episode. 👍🏼

I sometimes wish they had just shown naman-karishma dead instead, if they weren't planning to explore these angles well.

Ok and mishti is wearing those earnings again, i think she had 2-3 sets of it 😆
