Whats wrong if the majority here think this is classic. If they think its classic and you think its objectionable than its all good 😆

there is something wrong deeper in society than bollywood, the misogyny, raping etc needs to fixed elsewhere, not at the movies. it's just an excuse by these horrible men to say "oh we're just copying our favorite hero". men need to be held accountable for their actions not blame cinema, literature etc. we're all not acting like Hannibal lector because we saw that in the movies.

Not everything but people should definitely have a problem with sexual harassment being shown as comedy or romance.

1. Sholay was made in 1970s. DDLJ was made in 1990s.

While the movies reflect the flaws of the times, we're judging from 2020. How can anyone in this day and age claim this was all right?

2. Indians are heavily influenced by movies. There are no if, ands, or buts about it. After so many years, culture has built around what we see in them. A mostly Punjabi festival like karva chauth is now celebrated across the country. An Indian immigrant claimed he was stalking two women because he thought that was romance. While moviemakers are legally free to do such scenes, let's not pretend they're not using said scenes to titillate the LCD and rake in moolah at the expense of safety and security of women.

I would say watch Sanskaari films like Sooraj Brajatya but then I remember Sallu perving it up with his sling shot & Madhuri's back.

Aastha channel it is.
