Shahid Kapoor Questions Credibility of Critics
Poor Sonu:( Iss movie mein Arijit ne bhi ek gaana gaya tha aur sari attention woh leke chala gaya.
Pehle bhi log yahi kehte the. Before Sonu Nigam,
people used to say, new singers would come and go but no one can match Udit Narayan and Kumar Sanu.
Even before Udit and Sanu,
people again used to say, new singers would come and go but no one can match Kishore Kumar.
And even before....I suppose you got the point.

People who worked with udit and shanu said the same that Sonu Nigam jitna reyaz na udit ka ha na kumar sanu ka hai recently jatin lalits fame jatin said it... And it's true sonu jitna tayar gala kisi or singer ka nahi hai

Sonu Nigam is THE most versatile singer we have. From 80s till date, no one has that singing style.
Even though personally for me number 1 is Mohd Rafi sahab in all contexts (thats why I say 80s onwards) , Sonu really has a versatile discography.
New gen will love their overhyped singers...but few years down the line, Sonu will be remembered along with the 90s group of Udit Narayan, Kumar Sanu etc. Others will be forgotten.
I do see a bunch of new singers who are equally talented and can be deserving successors of Sonu but the music industry currently is too busy promoting mediocrity.

I love Rafi Ji's voice but idk why I have more number of Kishore Kumar's song in my fav list.
Sonu for sure is very versatile.
Recently I was listening to "chhu lo na" from fanaa and he and Sunidhi has really made that song sensuous

Kishore Kumar was undoubtedly very talented. Some of my favourite movies star him. Bt as a singer, I prefer Rafi Sahab.
