Bollywood movies have always been called out. You will not be the first one to start. Constructive criticism is always welcome everywhere. What’s not welcome is slander and mudslinging and filth spreading.

Deepika did a terrible job in Chapaak is criticsm. Deepika is a nashedi is not news but mudslinging! Can’t believe we are still having to spell this out.

On another hand, can’t blame because news channels have been running like drama series and courtrooms where they play Kokilaben and find the bahu of the day to slaughter

Exactly.....people don't get the difference between Freedom of speech....and slander....FOS is where you can criticize someone....you can have an opinion about someone...that can't be challenged in court because everyone has a right to their opinion....like some said...opinions are like assholes...everyone has one.....like saying that Karan Johar is a hypocrite...is fine...that is an opinion...but saying that Karan is a criminal...is not an opinion....its slander....and one will have to prove it with evidence ...why Karan is a criminal...or else Karan will sue the sh*t out of you.

Media is supposed to tell us the happenings without adding their expert comments to it....you can't run a 1 hour of video slandering someone and then get out by saying that the video was unconfirmed and we said so....aise nahi hota na Bhai Sahab...ki aapne disclaimer e kar agle ki izzat utaar dee..

You can tell by the response in social media how much the slander has been normalized and become part of our daily conversation. It doesn’t even strike to be abnormal anymore. Media has to hold everyone at task and also apply the same standards. From the gold investigative journalism, we are now resorting to animated homo sapien reporting, solve the puzzle naming random celebrities and WhatsApp as the ultimate truth machine.

All BW is asking is to not to spray paint the entire industry but to report on the facts. No idea why there is a ruckus to ask media to do their original job description
