That and maybe the thought of having to sit through depositions and court hearings with her is too blood curdling to consider.

but none of their investigations were conclusive...they are innocent until proven to be guilty....not the other way around

I mean they had like 6 months to destroy any evidence. (Or just smoke it all up 👀) I’d be soo disappointed if they were that thick to still be caught.😆

I'll be more than happy if there are genuine guidelines issued for regulating the behaviour of media houses. And it's not because of my concern for BW but because of the disastrous incidents which have happened in the past with no media person being held accountable(think someone already mentioned 26/11 and Delhi riots in a previous post).

Guidelines have always been there, they just haven't followed it. It's not the first time Republic Tv has been sued for slander, they have been asked to apologise earlier too by NBSA.

A lot of actresses would have joined but Anushka has very little to fear..daughter of an army man..she is married to a very very popular cricketer- though she is blamed for his poor game, media won't target her as they will look bad if they target Kohli's wife...his fans will turn against them on the social media at least..plus she is pregnant- pregnant women and new moms won't be targeted by media else it will backfire

Anushka needn't fear anyone..I am not telling how she would have behaved if she wasn't safe from the media witch hunt..but other actresses are vulnerable..they choose their battles wisely

Arnab may preach about ethics and pontificate (which every media house in this country is guilty of including the darlings of bollywood NDTV and India today), but what he does is there for everyone to see on his shows. His crass behavior, circus-type debates, hounding style of journalism are enough for those with a brain to see what he does. He doesn't deny his reporters hound people. In fact, he takes pride in it and the fact that he pioneered this style of journalism (unfortunately) in this country.

I honestly don't wish to defend Arnab as I don't like him. For me, fake, preachy, hypocrites, cesspools of derogatory behavior that end up ruining lives are two sides of the same coin and Arnab and Bollywood have all the qualities.

You never know what may happen, God forbid, if Rhea or someone they targeted commits suicide, they may have to shut down the channel for ever. Funny they are accusing people of abetting suicide when they are the bigger bullies here.

Possible but think the Producers Guild has asked all active A list prodn houses to be part of the list . DEepika and others have produced an occasional film or so but don’t have a full fledged prodn house .

The only big exception I can see is Viacom 18 .
