I still like Bani. She should definitely explore beyond Veer and get into the how’s and why’s of things. But it must be quite confusing for her to deal with her Satyug past traumatic memories, all the negative things she knows about Veer in the present and the intensity he displays towards her. For her, Jay is her janmon ka pyar and he is a Naag. It’s natural for her to trust him blindly. Her holding onto her anger and repeated attempts to get Veer to prove to her that he is evil shows that she has new feelings towards him that she doesn’t want to feel towards her enemy. She is trying different ways, so that he acts consistent with her mental image of him as evil. But Veer is acting the complete opposite, confusing the hell out of her. I think her reactions are completely normal and expected in light of all the facts in front of her and she isn’t less intelligent, just focused in one direction only - proving her pati dev is evil, so that she can take revenge without that niggling doubt in her mind.
Which is the problem. She cannot think beyond instigating Veer. She has so much confusion, still haven't seen her trying to sort the mess out. At least, she should take some direction. If she has confusion with regard to Veer, to usko abhi chod do. Koi aur raasta pakdo na. Mayuri hai, phir Cheelo ke pata nahi kitne mysteries aur secrets hai. Rassi ka ek chod pakadke khadi ho gayi, arre dusra dhundo na yaar. Agar Veer uske mental image ko chot pahuncha raha hai, to dusre Cheelo ko dekho. Woh ab bhi leechad kamine hi hai. I mean she is stuck. But she needs to take initiative and sort out her own mysteries. No one else will do it for her.
As for the Cheel family, this is a supernatural world and they must have seen incredibly weird things happening. It may not be a far stretch to them to believe that Veer in his sanak may take on his past self ka roop. Especially when Shakura is portraying Veer convincingly enough. He isn’t Veer and hence, the audience can see through the cracks but to Veer’s family, there is no reason to doubt as his initial antics were so convincing and they live in a supernatural world jahan kuch bhi ho sakta hai. They don’t have a reason to doubt as of now ki koi Veer ki shakal leke aaya hai ghar mein.
Veer sanki hai and kuch bhi kar sakta hai I get. But kuch to baatein Veer ki hongi na jo standard hai. I mean itni easily believe kar lena ajeeb laga. Jabki Cheel sab pe shaq karte hai. But you may be correct. It's a supernatural world, and they are truly weird.
I am really enjoying the show 😍 Writers seem to be doing their best. Even Jay has improved tremendously. Mohit is portraying Jay’s madness convincingly. Full psycho lag raha hai these days with his insecurities and bullying. I am glad acting improve ho gayi Mohit ki. He is doing well as a villain. Just that menacing ki jagah, crazy lagta hai onscreen. I think that’s how they have written the character.
Hey, I am enjoying the show too. But some things are OTT, just like Jai's bullying act. Also this Shakura, this one is dubious too. Are they sure this bugger is Shakura, and not Veer? Mujhko ab bhi doubt kyun ho raha hai?? Kuch lafda hai.
Loving the whole Cheel male bonding on the show as well. Saas bahu drama nahi hai iss baar. Thank Godddd!!
I agree! I love the Cheel family this season.
I expect there to be loopholes and bloopers in this kind of show. ITV runs on a tight deadline and low budget. In that sphere and considering that it’s a pandemic all around, I admire the efforts of the writers, Director, crew and the fab cast. They are trying something different this season and I pray that it works commercially, warna wahi ghisa pita ITV drama dekhna padega.
