2002 was a disastrous year for Bollywood with only 2 blockbusters - Raaz and Devdas, and very few clean hits. Still, if you had to look back, which do you think is the best movie of that year?

Devdas barely got a Hit status, not sure how considering it didn't even cover its budget being the most expensive film at that time.

But Legend of Bhagat Singh IMO. Aakhen & Kaante too.

2002 will always be the year of Jaani Dushman though. 😆

It's a rip-off of three Hollywood films, Reservoir Dogs, The Usual Suspects and Heat, merged into one film with usual Bollywood masala to cater to the mass audience.

Still it ended up being a very good action crime thriller with dark humor and innovative cinematography, which made it different from regular Bollywood fare at that time.

2002 was a terrible year for Bollywood only 2 outright hits, piracy had taken over Bollywood.

@bold, yeah I remember almost every new movie showing on cable during this period when they were still in theaters.
