Such a handsome male Sparrow

Sparrows were wiped out because of reckless use of DDT and Gamaxene ... they effected the birds by making their eggs very brittle n premature birth ...leading to loss of chicks

Now with the environment slowly ridding itself of those two pesticides we see Sparrows returning n growing in numbers l

I remember seeing sparrows in huge numbers as a kid ... those two pesticides are banned in USA n many other countries ...
