Lajjo is thinking about what Rekha said to her, and is worried. She is disturbed, and Jaswant notices this.
At home the family sees Rekha return and akss her where she has been. She says that she went to talk to the jewelers regarding the wedding jewelry for Lajjo. Everyone is excited that Rekha has already started preparing for the marriage, and start talking about their own preparations.
Uday arrives, and tells his mom that he too was at Hilton Hotel but missed his mom. Dadimaa, questions this, and Rekha says that she called the jeweler to the hotel. Anjana is suspicious.
Lajjo is crying and Jaswant asks her what is wrong. She says that she doesn't want to be tied in this marriage, that is forced on Uday. She says that she isn't not only spoiling Uday's life, but she won't be able to adapt. She says she just wants to leave an go back.
Jaswant says that it will be better to talk to Uday before making the decision.
Uday, is working, and Anjana curious tries to find out about Rekha. Uday shrugs it off, and he gets a call from Jaswant. Jaswant says he wants to talk to Uday. Uday agrees, and tells Anjana, who directly runs and tells Rekha.
Rekha shrugs it off, but thinks to herself that Uday must not go. Otherwise everything will go wrong.
Liza sees Abhay standing by the window and goes to talk to him. She tells him that she loves him, and tells him not to think wrong of her. She says that all the problems in his family have arisen because of her, and he should separate from her, leave her, and go back to his family. Abhay becomes irate and tells her not to speak of it anymore. He tells her that Indians are very family oriented, but they also stick by their decision and their love, and will work hard to overcome any obstacles. Liza apologizes to Abhay.
Back home, Rekha noticing that no one is around fakes injury. Everyone in the family is concerned and tells her to rest. Rekha says that she can't, since she has to attend a foreign delegate meeting. Anjana tells her to send a manager, but Rekha says only she or Uday can go. Uday says he'll go. Rekha is grateful. She says she knows he has important work, but Uday tells hernothing is more important ot him than his mom.
Jaswant is waiting for Uday, but Lajjo tells him that Uday won't come. She says that he is being forced so he definitely won't come. Jaswant makes excuses, and tries calling, but Uday is in the meeting, and his phone is on vibrate.
Rama, comes to tend to Rekha, and Rekha talks about how her son is stuck fulfilling a promise that Ranbir made to Jaswant.
Lajjo tells Jaswant not to wait anymore, and that Uday unwillingness to come is his answer regarding the marriage. She tells him that he doesn't want this marriage and was forced. She says to leave tonight itself. Jaswant is distressed but agrees with his daughter.
