The problem isn't with being sexy. As long as women have the agency to assert their sexual prowess, and not feel pressured to do it.
The problem isn't with embracing feminine qualities, but with the purpose of objectification by the channel to raise TRPs.
Women are not abla naaris. I am cringing because I am not sure if the women had the freedom to exercise their agency in this matter.
Who wants to seduce a pig like Shukla willingly, anyway?
I don't think the girls were pressured to do it, they all agreed to do it. IT WAS AN ACT, not real!
They're all professional actors, when they perform/act a particular scene or dance, they'd leave their personal feelings aside & do their job, like they did during the task. If the girls weren't comfortable doing it, they could've backed out, but instead they all did it sportingly.
Also, people are trashing the girls all over social media saying 'they crossed all the limits' & such & no one's talking about Sid at all. I find that problematic.
Dear , have you watch that where puneet and I don't know other contestants were making love at night that's too in front of national tv. Bigg boss history of creepy and cringe had no limit.
Did you see the scene how Shukla was talking nikki ek leg upar karke , what kind of message bb is giving .
Bb koi dhood ka dulah ni hai !! Everyone knows what they are showing ...vulgur content unki is usp . Today Shukla wanted to make Rubina sleep beside a guy ? When she is not comfortable ...
This may come across to you as stemming from feminism, but it really isn't. I had no issue with that task per se - i.e. the sexiness of it, so to speak. I think that's absolutely fine. My only issue with it is the whole "seduce Shukla" (or any man, for that matter) aspect of it. Have BB ever had, or would they ever have a "seduce Hina/seduce Gauhar" task exactly as this one was? I.e. with a Hina or a Gauhar on a bike, with the men slathering themselves all over them? They wouldn't. Why? Cos it'd be "inappropriate". I have a problem with that mentality, and the hypocrisy of it.
If the yardstick was how sexy or seductive the female contestants can be - they could have showcased that in umpteen ways. The women there can prove their capabilities outside of seducing a particular man IMO. Why even put them in a position to have to "please" a man, and that too - not a man they chose, but one that BB told them to please. There was a glaring lack of agency here.
I had a similar issue last season with the whole "the men will decide which woman will go ahead in the game" - how successful a female contestant was, and how deserving to go forward was based solely on how likable they made themselves to the male contestants. No - just no.
I am not against what happened in task ... the girls were given the task they did it .. great
I am against the concept of task .. when something so serious is being discussed in outside world what mssg are the makers giving by preparing a task where junior girls have to entertain senior boy to earn points 😔...
What if they are not comfortable in doing it ... where is the consent ..where is it? ...
I never entertained such task .
And people who are name calling the girls because they did the task are the same people who blame the girl after molestation ... NO DIFFERENCE

THIS, I agree with. You always come forward with great points, SP!
But if you read my post again, you'd see my main complaint was people on social media (& even here on IF) are trashing the girls saying ''they crossed all the limits'' (& many even name calling the girls, like they behaved like whores & whatnot). That mentality is my main issue, like why's everyone trashing these beautiful & confident women who have no problem flaunting off their sexiness. Why the girls facing all the heat?
If you feel like women were being objectified in the task, then raise question about that, fine. But why would you bash a woman for flaunting her sexy side?

You're calling a task as casting couch & sexual harassment is absolutely bizarre & trivializing the real victims of casting couch & sexual harassment! Go look up the meaning of these terms!
Here all the women did the task with CONSENT. Your take doesn't even make any sense.
They did it with consent because they didn't have any other option akin to casting couch. For example if all of them had rejected to do the task, BB would have given them some serious punishment which for girls like Puniya and Tamboli is not right bc they are the least known faces amongst women this year.

If you didn't liked the concept of the task, then complain about it, fine. I don't have any issue with that.
But my main issue is about how people on social media are making narrow minded comments & name calling the women, & saying how the girls on BB ''crossed all their limits'' in the task hinting that confident women being sexy & flaunting off is wrong/something to be ashamed of. That's where I called out people's backward mentality.

I get what you're saying OCK - and I'm not onboard with @bold - that's not ok IMO. But I think in terms of people's opinion of the actual footage - that's subjective and a matter of comfort.
Like sometimes I'll find a scene in a movie or a series hot, and sometimes I might find it sleazy. Just depends on the vibe really. But in this particular instance, the task itself caused a sour taste in my mouth, for the reasons I articulated above - so I'd have found it difficult to appreciate any heat therein in any case.

You have put it so well! This is exactly what was wrong with the whole seducing task. I will never blame the actresses in this case as they were almost pressurized to give consent to this even if they felt uncomfortable to survive and win the task, or they would be called unsporting and crybabies.
Consent would have been valid if it was just a casual scene and still any of the girl wanted to grind on Shukla's lap - here they aren't gwtting any favours from BB and it would be their decision to sit intimately with a guy, but when you involve returns in exchange of task, that makes it thoroughly disgusting and akin to using sexual advances to get ahead. It's like the one who's able to turn on Shukla the most - wins. Just think about it 🤢
Rubina's relief and almost ecstacy of getting eliminated from task at this point was laughworthy 🤣
