YHM CVs are the biggest sadists. An infertile woman who faced stigma all her life, becomes pregnant only to have her baby killed within one week of pregnancy. If they wanted to dish out surrogacy crap, atleast they could have shown Ishita's pregnancy for few months. That way fans would have got a breather.I was okay with miscarriage too. They could have shown Raman healing Ishita's insecurities about her infertility and telling her that she doesn't need to give birth to become a complete woman. Instead we get the exact opposite. Ishita is completely okay with the miscarriage and Raman becomes a maniac to give Ishita her own biological child..
Practically every single ITV jodi has gotten at least one track of a beautiful pregnancy and raising a baby together. Even if it was after a miscarriage (Akshara-Naitik), after their first baby died (Kartik-Naira), or if their was a leap before the baby was born (Ram-Priya, & Kartik-Naira). In BALH, Priya was actually quite old during her second pregnancy (definitely over 38) which means she had a successful geriatric pregnancy. In YRKKH, Akshara suffered two miscarriages but each was followed by a baby's birth (Naksh and then Naira). In the same serial, Naira lost her first baby and raised her second baby alone, but still there was a third successful pregnancy. In a serial called Kehta Hai Dil Jee Le Zara, not only did the lead couple get pregnant and have a baby, but the couple that was supposed to be the villain also got redemption and became pregnant in the season finale. In Ek Hazaron Mein Meri Behna Hai, the first couple (Viren-Jeevika) had their first baby via surrogacy but in the season finale, Jeevika gets pregnant again and it is implied that the couple had a happy pregnancy together. And even the second couple (Virat-Maanvi) had a normal happy pregnancy.
But the catch is that even when these serials were running, Ishita-Raman were the most loved jodi on ITV. They were winning all the best jodi awards and rightfully so. A pregnancy and baby track with IshRa would have done wonders for the TRP. Even though their first pregnancy ended in a miscarraige, viewers still stuck with it. Even though they introduced surrogacy, viewers stuck with it. Even though Ishita had to deal with each child hating her at one point (first teenage Adi, then teenage Ruhi, then Pihu), viewers stuck with it. At least after IshRa, Ruhi, Adi, and Pihu had become one family, they could have introduced a successful happy pregnancy track and ended the show with the baby's birth or the baby's first birthday. It makes no logical sense (in terms of the story or TRP) to not give IshRa a pregnancy and baby track. Especially a woman like Ishita who became the iconic "Ishimaa" and won so many best maa awards.
