Everyone in Shah family is spineless except Samar! Only Samar shows some spine and stands up for what is correct even if it is against his elders.

Waise to bapuji supports Anupama, but when it comes to publicly stopping his son or wife from humiliating Anu, he keeps mum. Why? Isn't he the eldest in the family? Has he not tried to explain things in private to Leela but seen it never has any effect on her? Has he ever tried to scold his grandkids when they mistreat their mother or their brother? No, then what is the use of showing sympathy to Anu in private?
