Salman has more organic fandom but Akshay has overtaken him in box-office pull, I believe.

He's consistent in the last two years but not a single hgoty in his best phase not a film at more than 200 cr. Vicky kaushal Shahid films had earned more than him too. His film earned like Salman underperformer films. Just good pr and bhakt support. I think Salman amir are still number 1. But stardom like srk and Salman ended with them. That kind of dominance ended with salman.

granted 2019 ended with akshay ahead of everyone. But 2020 is so called frowning achievement all for not. Now he’s streaming movies. I mean Sooryavanshi is a huge film but I’d say they hype for it is similar to Radhe. Everyone else Aamir/Hrithik/Ranveer etc are all watch wait.

Akshay doesnt need to overtake anyone . Salman himself is destroying his stardom by doing crap movies while Aamir's future is dependent on Laal Singh Chadda

No.

But his PR has done enough to establish him as number one in the eyes of common people. Given he is topping almost every polls and lists.

Aamir is still miles ahead, his one movie collects almost 3 times of the others you mentioned ( excluding his last outing)

I am sure his next movie will do the same. That's what his formula is from last 7 to 8 years
