Stories are a communal currency of humanity. DKP, you engineer a story with your brilliant dialog writers, then get actors to express the stories phenomenally well with their emotions, body language and skill; add color, charm and a magical quality to it as finishing effects, with your creatives, camera crew etc. Star Plus, and other broadcasting media channels bring these stories to life for us to watch and enjoy. Heartfelt thanks for the same.

The above activities with a whole lot of efforts happen behind the scenes. However, to us– the ordinary human species - the general public, we think in metaphors and learn through your stories. Sometimes reality is very difficult for the ordinary man to face. These beautiful creations of yours DKP and Star Plus are our escape routes. One such escape route, for many of us over the last year has been Yeh Rishtey Hain Pyar ke.

The lessons that Abir and Mishti have given us with their love for the family, in terms of honesty, dependability, sincerity, selflessness ruled the hearts of the YRHPK Fandom. Your show has inspired us to be better human beings, standing for the right and moral, condemning the wrong doers at home and in the society, which is what the unruly and hate festered society today needs.

The youth watch this show to become better responsible adults and better citizens of the society. The adults and the middle aged Iam sure, watch this show to relive their memories of the past and to feel young again.

Who wouldn’t want to be Abir and Mishti despite their struggles? Struggles are a PART of life, not the whole life like MishBir’s. Just like a caterpillar in the cocoon works its way, struggling to emerge into a beautiful butterfly their lives, despite trials has made them stronger and their love for each other more and has created a trust that never can be ruptured, period. In a world of dishonesty, selfishness, divorces and failed marriages, this selfless unconditional love and trust is what couples today need today to make their corner and the society that they live in, better.

Your pulling the show off the air stating the reason of TRPs, lack of storylines (come on there are plenty) and other reasons to stop a beautiful way of educating the public is totally crass. TRPs are commercial and should be controlled through illicit broadcasts/ streaming through other URLs so that people can stick to their TVs. You, as bigwigs have the means to do that and take legal action to stop illegal streaming.

You should be proud DKP and Star Plus that you create a platform of selling messages of philanthropy, altruism and immaterial concepts and are in charge of creating a better responsible society. Those who tell stories rule the world. You hold the crown to story telling but there is no greater agony than holding an untold story inside of you – the unfinished story Of Mishti and Abir that you are hurriedly finishing at the speed of supersonic jet.

Storytelling gives you the opportunity to talk with your audience NOT AT THEM. Yet, for the last fortnight plus we have been tirelessly trending and pleading with you for more of the YRHPK magic. We have lost sleep, peace and happiness and you have been talking at us with goodbye videos rubbing salt into our injured hearts.

Please take this as a humble request and let the show continue. We want Mishti and Abir to be happy for a few instances at least, without fighting for it all the time and solving problems around them.

Wonderfully expressed! 👏

Abir-Mishti are indeed inspirational and idealistic characters. They have always fought for their love, for others’ love and happiness (but those ingrates are now abusing them). They have fought societal norms and against regressive members of society. They have crossed an ocean of tears to be reunited with each other. They are still together inspite of everything going against them, even fate dealing them cruel blows like Mishti’s inability to have children.

Their innate ideals have been compromised recently to distort the story and give prominence to a negative character and her evil intentions. But Mishbir are still fighting for what’s right and for their happiness.

The PH has washed their hands off this show ever since lockdown due to greed and favoritism. The channel is also prioritizing commercial interests and not responding to impassioned pleas to extend the show.
If both PH and channel had a heart, they would shift the show to 11pm slot and extend it at least for 3 more months as there is still a story to be told, still angles to be explored, still more special moments left for Mishbir journey to reach its final denouement. But alas, only commerce rules and art is defeated. Channel doesn’t think it has an obligation to show progressive ideas and idealistic journeys.

Anyway I will always cherish this journey with these two idealistic young lovers and hold them close to my heart not just as fictional characters but as two beautiful people who touched us deeply with their passion for truth and mutual love and understanding. ❤️

Agree with each word here. Like I said in other thread, Star plus and Rajan Shahi should be proud of this show and the popularity it has created for itself. People literally call it 'our show' as if they own it and hold it so close to their hearts. Star plus and RS have this show and its immense fame, something that other channels and producers crave for years and want for years and still not get. High time for star plus and RS to value what they have got.
