Am gonna post from the start. So, don't worry. And here comes the prologue. Tan da na......

Prologue:

Finally, after years he is free now. He tried to move but couldn’t. He groaned. He needs his power back soon. He sighed. If it had been another era people would’ve prepared sacrifices at his honor by now. But this is modern age. But people don’t remember him anymore. He will have to find his own sacrifice. The sun was going down leaving its soft touch over the edge. He groaned again. This time it was a groan of hunger. He took a deep breath. The sweet smell of fresh warm blood hit his nose hard. He grinned. The exact time the sun went down and the hunt begin.

Vishnu looked at Soha and cringed. She was still angry at him. Okay he shouldn’t yell at her. But he was at the verge of going crazy. They were married for only two months. It was their first outing together he screwed things up. They lost their way and now for his brilliant sense of direction they got stuck at the jungle. From the corner of his eyes he noticed Soha shivered a little. He sighed and pulled her closer to her. He moved the flashlight here and there. His instincts were indicating that something is wrong with this jungle. There was pin drop silence at the whole jungle and that’s the thing was bugging him. There should be noise around them. Cricket’s should be chirping and other nocturnal animals should make sound. It felt as if every leaf of the jungle was waiting for something horrible to happen. He looked up at the sky. The moon also looked gloomy as if she knew some secret they didn’t. He pulled Soha closer to him.

Soha was practically shivering. Her anger vapored long ago. This jungle was creeping her out. She did not like it a bit. She was feeling as if someone was watching them. She looked here and there but didn’t find anything.

Vishnu was looking for a shelter but suddenly stopped. He can swear he heard a rustling sound behind them. He turned around shielding Soha behind him. But there was nothing. He moved flashlight around. Suddenly Soha stiffened behind him. The hairs of his neck rose. He slowly turned around to see Soha standing like a statue. Behind her stood a tall figure. He couldn’t see the face. Because his flashlight decided to betray him that moment. It dimmed and lights went off.

Arjun driving the car with Riya at the passenger seat. With the rest of the team behind them in another car. Arjun sighed in frustration. He couldn’t believe that he actually agreed to marry this girl. She will surely make his life hell. But he had no other option. During a festival he invited his team to his house and that was the biggest mistake he ever did in his life. His mother took an instant liking towards the girl and fixed his marriage with her. He gritted his teeth. It’s been two years since Roshni died in an accident. But still she haunts in his thought. How could he marry someone else? He wasn’t ready for marriage. He wasn’t ready to move on. May be he will never be ready. But Sameer made him agree. He pointed out at the grief he caused to his parents over years. He sighed again. And now he along with Riya and other team members going to Delhi at his parents’ house for marriage. He was about to curse under his breath when something caught his eyes. There stood a girl aged around 23/24 standing at the middle of the road. They stopped the car and came out. She was wearing a sky blue share with matching jewelry. Her hairs were open.

Sameer: Kya bat hai? Aap koun hai? Yaha itni rat ko iss jungle ke beej kya kar rahe hai?

Girl: I am Soha. Soha Tripathi. Please help me. Main apne pati ke sath yaha ayi thi. Bech raste mein hamari gari kharap ho gyi thi isslye haam jungle mein gye. Unhune mujhe yahi road side pe baithakar dusri taraf gye pani lane. But abhi tak wapas nehi aye. Please aaplog usse dhundne meri madad kijye.

For some unknown reason Arjun was having a nagging suspicion about something horribly wrong. But he couldn’t put his finger on it.

They couldn’t say no. So, they got down from the car and went to start searching for Vishnu without knowing the horror awaiting them ahead.

CHAPTER 1:

Whole team started for searching Vishnu. As it was a big jungle with no network they decided to do it together. Soha was walking ahead with Chotu. Then Samer, Shree and Liza. Arjun was at last along with Riya and Ayesha. Riya met an accident and had several injuries including a nasty one on her leg. So, like a good and dutiful fiancé Arjun was walking with her. Riya was walking with walking stick. Somewhere it pricked Arjun. But he hid it well. Everybody was in talking mood. The eerie silence was creeping them out that’s why they were trying to make noise as much as possible. Well except Riya. For some unknown reason she was unusually quiet. It was bothering Arjun. If it was not the sound of her walking stick he would say that Riya didn’t come with them. Arjun frowned. She was full on radio mood in the car. She was making her best effort to give him a strong headache. Then suddenly what happened? Is she afraid of jungles? No. But something was bothering her. He found her casting wary glances at Soha time to time. It seems Aisha noticed it too.

Ayesha: Riya tum thik to ho na!!

Riya bit her lower lip and looked ahead. Due to her injury she was walking slow and they were pretty out of earshot.

Riya: I don’t know. I am feeling that I have seen this Soha before. I can’t remember where.

Ayesha: To issme kounsi badi bathai? Dekha hoga pehle kahi pe?

Riya shook her head.

Riya: Nehi. Koi gadbad hai.

Suddenly she stopped. She was panting heavily. High dose medicines made her really weak. Arjun focused on her. And for the first time after agreeing to the marriage he looked at her closely. In the faint light of flashlight, he could see the dark circle under her eyes. And is she looking a bit pale?

Arjun was about to blast her head for not taking care of herself but just then Sameer called him.

Sameer: Kya bat hai Arjun? Waha ruk kiyu gye?

Arjun: Sam, Riya ki tabyat achanak kharab ho gyi hai. Haam yehi rukte hai tum jao.

Sameer smiled a bit. He sensed Arjun was starting to fall for Riya. He decided to give them some alone time.

Sameer: Okay. Haam thik der ghante bad tum dono se yehi milenge. Ayesha tum aa jao. Rawte akela hi kafi hai.

Understanding his wish Ayesha chuckled under her breath. She gave Riya’s shoulder a light squeeze and left. Arjun frowned. He was not stupid. He actually can see what is going on in his best buddy’s mind. But choose to stay quite.

As they went out of sight Riya sighed in relief. No offense. She loved her team. It’s just that Soha was giving her creeps. She had seen her somewhere but where? She sighed in irritation.

Then she felt a gentle tug in her hand. It was Arjun. He took her near a root and made her seat. He opened the bag and brought out the water bottle. He fed her water and then sat beside her. Since their marriage got fixed he always keeps an eye on her comfort. Though she knew he was doing them just because of they are going to be married. She also knows that Arjun will never be able to accept the marriage. But that didn’t stop her heart fluttering each time he does this kinds of things. She wanted to give him comfort and peace. But that is not possible. Because he will only get comfort and peace if she quit from the marriage. And she can’t do that. She has a family and she will have to think about them too. Her mother is a comatose patient. She had been sleeping for two years. Her father is a heart patient. She had seen her father keeping straight just for her sake. If she steps back from the marriage or the marriage doesn’t take place for any reason her uncles’ will not leave a chance to taunt them. Her father will not be able bear it. She looked at him from the corner of her eyes. He was looking ahead. He was wearing a black shirt with jeans. He was looking dashing. But it couldn’t lift up her mood.

Arjun sensed her looking at him still he didn’t turn. He knew how much she loves her. But there isn’t anything he can do. He loves his Roshni and will love her forever.

Little did he know that he already started falling for his Miss Chatterbox.

Sameer was walking side by side with Ayesha. He did not like the jungle at all. But for Soha’s sake they were doing this. Sameer’s gaze went to Soha again. For a girl who just lost her husband she looked quite cheerful. He frowned. He was getting a bad vibe from this girl. No matter how hard he tried he couldn’t shake off the feeling. Suddenly he bumped at Chotu. Then he realized whole team had stopped walking.

Sameer: Kya bat hai? Tumsab aise ruk kiyu gye?

Shree and Chotu first exchanged wary glance then looked at him.

Shree: Woh sir woh Soha ji achanak gyeb ho gyi.

Sameer first looked at his teammate then here and there for Soha. When he didn’t find her he gave them his deadliest stare.

Sameer: Woh kaha gyi? Aur tum teeno mese kisine usse nehi dekha?

Shree, Aisha and Chotu exchanged another worried glance.

Shree: Sir haam bate kar rahe the. Riya aur Arjun sir ki shadi ke bat ayi to haam aur involved ho gye. Sir achanak haamne notice kya woh ekdam chup chap ho gyi. Haamne idhar udhar dekha par woh kahi nehi dikhi.

Sameer’s hand balled up at his sides.

Sameer: Tum teeno itna bade insan ho. Trained cop ho. Ek insan tumlogoke ankhoke samne se gyeb ho gyi aur tumlogo ko pata bhi nehi chala!!

This time Aisha quipped in.

Aisha: Sir aap itne bade trained officer hai. Itne sare medals jeete hai. Haam to mamuli officers hai. Hamare ankhoke samne se woh chali gyi. Par aapke ankhone usse jate hue kaise nehi dekha SIR?

Sameer did a double take. Actually he had no answer for that. And this was the first time Aisha talk with him like that. Means she was pretty angry. But she was right too. He had no right to put all the blames on their shoulder.

He ran his hand through his hair.

Sameer: Guys bohot rat ho chuki hai. Itni ratko haam do insan ko eksath dhond nehi sakte. Aab hame wapas chalna chahye. Haam yehi kisi paas wale gavo mein rahenge. Subah uthke phirse dhundna start karenge. Uparse Riya ki tabyat bhi thik nehi hai.

They all turned and started for the way they came.

Riya was thinking hard when suddenly her mind caught something. A chill went through her spine.

Riya: Arjun yeh kounsi jyega hai?

Arjun frowned at the urgent note of her tone.

Arjun: Kya bat hai Riya?

Riya shook her head. She spoke up in a tight voice.

Riya: Please.

Arjun calculated in mind.

Arjun: I think it’s Jalwanganj.

Riya’s face became deathly pale.

Riya: Par yeh kaise ho sakta hai? Yeh namumkin hai.

Arjun shook her a little.

Arjun: Kya namumkin hai Riya?

Riya: Mere ek dost hai Shahensha. Usske sath mein yaha ayi thi do saal pehle. Usska dost apni biwi ke sath issi area mein missing hue the. Unka nam tha Vishnu and Soha Tripathi.

What happened to IF? I copy my post here and it brings them together and creates new mistakes? Like really? It takes me almost 5/10 mins in WORD. Can you imagine how many time it can take to proofread here?
