Alexia I do agree her selfishness is harming and hurting Rudhita too much and destroying the life of a little girl right now but by evilness I mean she doesn't want anything bad for Bondita from heart. Her actions are doing otherwise but her intension is not that.

Regarding selfishness I guess it depends on situation to situation , it's grey trait of human nature .

Bondita's priority was her sister's life which she can't see destroying in front of her eyes , whereas for Sampoorna her priority is her marriage . She loves her sister but she wants this marriage more.

Moreover I think as Sumati said Bondita doesn't know the consequences she will face after being left by Ani , that this society doesn't respect the left woman whereas Sampoorna knows the consequences , as I said she loves Bondita but loves herself more that's why unlike bondu she is not ready to sacrifice her life .

I am not supporting Sampoorna's action or something , she is wrong obviously but I am just saying she is not black from heart .
