Enola Holmes on Netflix is hugely entertaining - a really well-written film about the mighty Sherlock's just as smart younger sister. The plot has an air of mystery that keeps you watching and engaged. Millie Bobby Brown (who plays Enola) demonstrates her natural acting brilliance supported by an equally talented cast that includes Henry Cavill (as Sherlock Holmes).

A must-watch guys.

I agree the movie was brilliant with some acting and good storyline .. Millie brown nailed it as Enola and even though I would anyday prefer Benedict cumberbatch as Sherlock I did like Henry cavill as Sherlock .. I even loved the message of equality and individuality that’s given in the movie ...

How good is Millie!❤️ And she has produced it too.

The best part was I saw Enola Holmes right after I finished binge-watching Stranger Things. But Enola did not remind me of Eleven. Kudos to Millie for her performances. Its the mark of a good actor if you can get into the skin of the character so well, instead of looking the same in every role.

I also like Helena. She was really good in Crown as well.

Some fine casting. Henry Cavil😳 Though he literally had nothing to do in the film. He was jst there so that Lestrade could say that Enola is better than him.😆

For me the story dipped a little in between but the actors were the saving grace.

Sad what they did with Mycroft's character. I watched as a film in itself, ignoring the link to Sherlock. I see Sherlock and Mycroft's characterizations here as restricted to this film only. They might as well be different characters with a common name.

They kept the detective work minimal since she is supposed to be just 16, and this was the first time she set off to do this.

If they turn it into a series or intend to have sequels, then m sure they will show her making progress with her sleuthing skills. It wouldve been unbelievable if ekdum se she started off doing unimaginable things.

Here they showed that her primary motive to flee was escape the finishing school.

Yeah same here...the message was that maintain your individuality no matter what life throws in your way. And also the way gender dynamics play out is so inspiring, considering it was Victorian England.

So true. Millie Bobby Brown is superb, I really hate using adjectives like "sparkles" when it comes to actresses, but that's just the best word I can come up with. She's having so much fun inhabiting this role and this world; breaking the fourth wall to share an aside with the audience here and there, running from the bad guys, working out cyphers, doing ju-jitsu and finding clues.

I will always resent Cavill for taking the Superman role from Matt Bomer, who is the better actor 😭 just cuz he is gay. why doesn't he get better work?

on topic, will check it out!

have you seen white collar?
