But what to be done, writers just want to give Kuhu upper hand over Mishti and prove her stupid curse right. 🤢

Pehle Kuhu ke reasons mein Mishti ya MishBir fit hi nahi aa re the aur ab sirf Mishti ko insult karne ka goal bana liya usne, through this pregnancy. Whatever be her disrespectful thoughts towards Parul and her haisiyat in life and in RJV house, she isn't ill treating Parul for it. She didn't want Parul massaging her feet but she wanted Mishti to be at her beck and call with the macademia nuts and milkshake. She is scared of being known as Parul's bahu, she is scared of shifting downstairs where Parul stays, she is scared of being given Parul's place in the future. So, now she has decided that one of them will be the future Meenu and the other the future Parul of the house, and Mishti should be the one to take Parul's place. Pehle it was only about Kunal's status and Kunal's rights, now it is mostly about HER place in the house. Not even once did she think two couples can be equally important and coexist in the future with their children, as a happy family. Meenu threatened to reduce her to Parul's level indirectly and instigated her to do this to Mishti instead. It's like this surrogacy is the deciding factor that will determine her status, as painted by Meenu. She isn't a team player like Mishti, else she would've realised that she could have joined hands with Mishti instead and everybody would win. Her happiness always lies in her victory because she has always been so selfish that she won't be able to see or care about the collateral damage she will cause in the process.

This may be a flaw in the idols that MishBir became to us initially but it's a very tricky and sticky situation they got stuck in and family always blurs the line between right and wrong. Sabke hisse ka dosh barabar tha till then. Adoption dhoke se cancel karva di to achieve her agenda, phir bhi since she had no ill will towards the hopeful parents to be, I was like that's unforgivable but she couldn't afford to let MishBir find an excuse to backout so chalo, let's blame this also on Meenu.

Par uske baad, Kuhu ke jo tevar badalte hue dikhaye, in a matter of episodes, where she didn't even think of the life she is carrying inside her, became reckless, made up her mind to abort it (even if still an embryo) at the drop of a hat for reasons entirely suited to her own needs, could so easily forget her family (bro and bro's wife whom she promised) and break their hearts and their expectations, especially after sabotaging their golden chance of getting a baby at the end of the month (maybe even blacklisting them for future chances of adoption). Toh iska matlab usne achanak se palti mara hai. Meenu ne phirse use Mishti ke khilaaf bhadkaya aur woh bhadak bhi gayi. Woh Mishti ka jeena haraam kar rahi hai. Abir ne jo kabool kiya ki Mish was right about Kuhu wanting all the attention and glory all the time doesn't even cover half of it. It's not just the limelight that she covets right now, it's the utter ruin of Mishti. She can be the centre of attention without harassing Mishti as well. Mishti is giving her all the attention too and instead of just lapping it up, she is inturn taking advantage of it by insulting her and treating her like a lowly servant. Her unwitting remark to have them be grateful to her for eternity back then wasn't alarming at the time, if you ask me, because she has always been accepted like that and it's nothing new. But this behaviour is a new high, or low depending on how you see it. Pehle, Kuhu had genuinely felt sorry for Mishti not being able to conceive and now she is using the same reason to put her down and make her cry every chance she gets.

PS:Varsha thinks the problem is so simple that the brothers can just start living separately. Ki isme kya hai. Arey, sirf unki beti problems create kar rahi hai, instead of urging her to change she wants to find an easy way out. How can she take the decisions of how another family should live-joint or nuclear. AbiNal never saw this day but ever since MishKu married them, Abir especially was forced to consider separation. It's difficult for them also. Who came first: brother or wife? I know that Kuhu getting trapped because Abir's wife can't bear children leaves no other alternative than to want her daughter and damaad to escape to Dubai, but to so logically suggest the brothers to split up where one lives in Dubai and the other in India, is callous. (Many logical decisions turn out to be callous anyway and that's why they are so difficult to make when it concerns family.) Even Abir was going to shift somewhere in Rajkot only so he doesn't have to go far from his brother.

Oh I don't disagree with you at all. Mishti should have seen this coming - she knew what Kuhu was like regardless of what is told. She has had years of experience but she keeps falling for it when Kuhu sympathizes with her when she is in trouble. Abir would have refused if Mishti had not agreed. I'm just saying that making a decision is the only thing in your hands, once it is made the only thing under your control is how you react to what happens, and not what happens.

I blame Kuhu too for her behavior with Mishti, but I didn't expect any different from her when it comes to Mishti. Imagine how she would be feeling now. She would think she was giving Mishti her life is she gave Mishti her pencil, so when she is giving her a baby, she is bound to do all this. The added dimension of the baby is what makes Kuhu's behavior really despicable for me. I can't even feel happy about Meenu being blackmailed by her because all I can think about is that innocent baby! The way she agreed not to terminate just so she could lord over Mishti also repulsed me.

I also agree about it being difficult to live apart for the brother, but I really don't like how easily MishBir gave in.

I just finished fourth episode. I loved supporting cast too especially sippy family and their siddhi jokes. Seems like every shows goes downhill after starting with great energy.

Actually a lot of shows take off on a positive note and maintain that till a while. But not all of them are worth watching. I didn't watch TV last year and then I shortlisted shows that aired last year based on google synopsis and reviews and narrowed it to YRHPK and KHKT. Also watched some random snippets on YT. I didn't need any convincing from Shah ofcourse, since he's my favourite, but I needed to test the other actors. But ya, both of the shows got ruined post wedding only unfortunately. Till that point, lovely shows.

I watched this serial only in lockdown so I kind of remember everything from the starting. If these characters behave like this in the serial in the beginning, I would have stopped watching from starting itself lol. As a viewer, major disappointment. Btw I just started watching KHKT, you guys give it a try too and quite funny in the beginning also already ended series, so I can stop when some unpredictable things happen in the future as KHKT have no future growth.

You should definitely watch the pre lockdown stuff....at least the pre leap phase ...that was gold ⭐️

Hey I have seen khkt 😆 Dr sippy is a slayer 🤣😎 though I used to watch it on and off and left the show when they got married and after that they butchered almost everything 😆

Dr. Sippy is so superb actor. Even I liked him in Sit series in youtube.

Yes, yeh rishtey. I don't hate other characters in any series as these ppl are doing their jobs as per script. Its all creative jobs of creating storylines. I mostly criticize and analyse my fav character as my focus solely rely on that character. Sometimes criticize other characters like Meenu for giving them bad dialogues. Now I don't have any interest even in analyzing Kuhu too.

Kusum ji should be little soft on Priyanka. I am waiting for their scenes. Lets see!

People are doing their jobs, I'm not talking about the actors here. The characters as written are either too forgiving, too childish, too angry, or too devious for my taste. If I don't like many of the characters, the show can't hold my interest.

In yrhpk I like to watch the entire cast, so it makes it easy for me. I don't like their behavior sometimes, but I understand it.

Its looks very artificial now. I don't relate any character be it Kuhu, Mishti, Abir, Kunal, Meenu even supporting cast except Varsha. I don't understand this forgiving nature in series. I agree, ppl forgive in real life but not next day maybe it takes years.
