Ishq Mein Marjawan 2’ actor Rrahul Sudhir tests positive for COVID-19

The latest celebrity to test positive for COVID-19 is actor Rrahul Sudhir. He plays the antagonist in Mamta and Yash Patnaik’s ‘Ishq Mein Marjawan 2’. The show also features Helly Shah as the protagonist and Vishal Vashishtha.

Informs a source, “Rrahul tested positive today. He is in quarantine now and we hope that he recovers soon and resumes work.”

Several TV actors have tested positive for coronavirus in the last few months. Parth Samthaan, who played the male lead, Anurag Basu, in the second edition of ‘Kasautii Zindagii Kay', tested positive for coronavirus almost a month back. Actress Shrenu Parikh was also tested COVID-19 positive on July 12, following which, the makers had to halt the shoot for three days. More recently, Shweta Tiwari, who plays the protagonist in ‘Mere Dad Ki Dulhan’, veteran actress Himani Shivpuri (seen in ‘Happu Ki Ultan Paltan’) and Rajesh Kumar, who plays the male lead in ‘Excuse Me Maddam’, tested positive for COVID-19. Along with them, Sara Khan — the new Paulomi Devi — in ‘Santoshi Maa Sunaye Vrat Kathayein’, Sachin Tyagi, who is seen in ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ and Rajeshwari Sachdev, who plays the protagonist in ‘Shaadi Mubarak’, tested positive, too.
