Be specific as to what kind of shady business deals Aryan is doing and how he feels about them. Does he feel really pressurized? Does he feel regret, remorse, or nothing? What about Ishani? Sunny "died", and is now pregnant with his child, how does she feel about it? They can show her bonding with Siya over it, or even with Chachi and Anupriya as they try to convince her to get married. For Aangre, give him some actual lines other than "Yes boss". 😆 They can do SO much to make the story hella interesting, they just need to invest in the characters that they already have.
Absolutely! In North America, ratings are also looked at, and shows do get cancelled if they're not doing so well. But like you said, creators are at least given the opportunity to tell the story however they want. Save for a few CVs, I don't know of many who give in to their audience and do what they demand.
This is why I feel India will do a lot better with doing finite series, or show them in seasons like in the West. The story will be kept tight, they can figure out what's working, what's not, and moreover it will keep the cast and crew fresh and interested. They won't burn out as quickly as they would by shooting 12+ hrs every single day.
Also, Rangeela needs to take a chill pill with the whole six day schedule. It will still do just fine on a regular five day week schedule.
