Lockdown is not possible in poorer countries like India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, African countries. More people will die from starvation than COVID

It's a waste of money especially when you are an international student. The best thing they could do is to send elderly people to old age home and let young people enjoy the life.

Let’s be honest. Most uni students are sad about not being able to attend freshers.😆and honestly freshers events is where Covid is gonna spread like wildfire. It’s not ideal but at least BoJo is letting international students in for uni, Trump isn’t even doing that for them.

The protests with thousands of people gathered in close proximity might have helped with the herd immunity if such thing exists

It didn’t spread the virus, the state gov. says 😛

Doesn’t the protests itself blow the isolation, social distancing, lockdown theories out of the window?

No because BLM protestors wore masks and it was outside. If it later caused herd immunity it would first have had to cause a huge spike in infections that spread to millions, it didn't.

Unlike the Trump campaign events which have become super spreaders. Held indoors and not required to wear masks because Trump is an idiot who's dogged anti- science stupidity and complete lack of human compassion has caused tens of thousands of deaths

Covid 19 in Delhi has definitely increased due to Momo and golgappa stalls. Few days back I saw at-least fifteen people eating on each stand. Social distancing went to toss.

It's bc international students here pay more than local students and tbh there are zero travel restrictions here except for 14 day period and I see a lot of people breaching that too
