All in all it was a good episode. Before going into detail, I'll focus on Rey first.

You know in life we often say "don't do anything you might regret later and if you do, don't forget what shame is". That's exactly what Rey is doing right now.

It's one thing to say things yourself and another to hear it from someone else.

Rey has "ruined" a girl's life in all conscience. For him, telling Prani to have an abortion had settled things. He didn't question whether or not she had done something with "their" child.

I'd like to add nothing but the existence of a scene from the show here. During Holi when Prani reveals who Jugs is to Rey, he says 'You emotional fool, what have you done?'. I believe the episode was shot pre lockdown but we never got to see it, we've been shown only one scene through a video recording post lockdown. So he clearly din't even imagine that she'd keep the child. I am not justifying or blaming Rey, but just putting out that such a scene exists and this was Rey's p.o.v.

Rey is impulsive, he says things without thinking for a second. He was brought up in a family that has no human value, he tried as hard as he could to adapt, he loved his mother, but she abandoned him. He came to love Prani, but he heard morning, noon and night that love doesn't bring anything, it takes relationships to consolidate their business, it brings more money, so he took this attachment for infatuation and nothing more.

Today, although I wanted to kill Vardhan, he was able to make Rey understand that he is not innocent. Every adult in this family has shaped him in a certain way so he has no lesson to teach them. Armaan's words just made him angry because for him he is bigger than Armaan so he doesn't have any thoughts to receive from him. Now Vardhan who is his big brother puts him in front of the facts, it's easier to listen and really understand.

This!! I was talking about this structure today, you put it way more sensibly and accurately into words! This explains the difference in Rey's reactions and also why Armaan could've never made that impact.

I've seen that many people blame Rey because he didn't act more violently, but you have to remember that Vardhan is his big brother. He had to stay and listen from the beginning to the end. This will help him to understand! Today, a woman suffers from his neglect.

As much as Prani is responsible to become living with Rey in their house, even if they sleep in separate rooms, Vardhan said what everyone is thinking in a low voice! We can't be hypocritical about that!

As they say it takes two hands to do "bravo", Prani is the left hand and Rey is the right hand, it's too easy for Prani to take the blame alone for their situation.

Let's go back to the beginning of the episode.

Jagnu has protected his mother from Vardhan's bad plans, it wasn't easy as Dadi came to thwart his plans. Jagnu remains true to herself, although she takes care of Prani, she still has a little trouble letting her get too close.

Rey went to the hotel to look for the evidence, but as we suspected, he didn't find anything. He wondered if Prani lied or the evidence was suppressed. It should be remembered that the hotel manager said that Vardhan was a regular, so it was easy to understand.

@Bold, true & that's a good link to understand!

Prani who needed Vardhan to be punished went to see him. I think it's weird that she could stay in the same room with him, but long after Vardhan finally showed his true face Rey arrived. So indirectly Prani knew that she was not in danger. (I'm sorry I don't adhere to strength of character in this kind of thing. Rape or assault marks, so this is my fault. I'm not saying that Prani should tremble, but she shouldn't be so close to Vardhan).

I had this feeling in the very first episode of this drama when she revealed it was V and went on to grab his collar.

Rey, who can't stand that someone hurts Prani (although he can...) has a mortal rage against Vardhan, but it won't last very long. Vardhan had to make things clear. He showed that Khuranna blood is inhuman!

Vardhan put Rey in front of reality, Prani heard things and looked at Rey, but Rey is ashamed, he doesn't dare to look Prani straight in the eye and even less to answer Vardhan. Of course, as long as Vardhan was talking it was normal, but Vardhan crossed the line again so Rey reacted.

Today for me this episode is a turning point for Rey.

Is he sure he wants to remain the Rey he is today? That is to say, to do what his family expects him to do, but in hiding in order to limit the damage.

Is he finally ready to act like an adult, even if it means disappointing Dadi and assuming things clearly?

Because Prani and Jagnu are in his life whether he wants to or not. Either he decides to support them in front of his family or he lets them go!

Rey's position and the directions that lie before him perfectly summed up!

This is so well put! Man, I love reading your inputs, thank you for this ❤️ It gives so much more depth and insight into the episode! Thank you!! I loved reading this and I'll read it few more times to gain an even better understanding!

In all honesty, after an assault, yes, we want justice, but we don't rush headlong into it.

Here I just had the impression that Pranati wasn't worried about her safety (if we don't know that Rey is there). She went so far as to grab Vardhan by his collar, so no, that's stupid.

She had started talking to him from afar, begging him not to put any more problems in his life. So for me, I don't feel the fact that she was attacked by a man who lives in the same house as her?

In real life we also say to our little brothers and sisters, I'm taller so listen to me. It's not really new so I understand the sense of hierarchy here. On the other hand, they have overemphasised this point and Dadi is the one who introduced this system as she commands her whole family in this way. The bigger one orders, the smaller one follows!

I agreed..

This is the stupidity of pranati at times that she doesn't care about her safety when she was fighting for something. this happened many times,

1.she was about to get married but she went after jugnu without informing others or thinking about her safety not even to Archit or her mom

2.Kidnapping track.. Her mind is completely filled with jugnu's safety that in that process she forgot about her safety.. reyansh is not wrong.. what if the kidnappers assaulted her and killed jugnu also... She might have failed in saving her daughter too because of not putting her safety in consideration.

This is one reason Reyansh always warn her before she does something without thinking it's consequences which might hurt her beyond imagination. I feel reyansh know this from the start

I feel like Reyansh is impulsive in his abusive words... Pranati is impulsive in her action..

Now after reading Readlo posts, I feel pranati is too careless and in anger she feels to hurt the other person physically without taking who is that person in consideration..

Agreed.. this is the best post from Readlo❤️

She touched upon many things including jugnu and Reyansh.

Between that pre lockdown episode of prayansh scene you mentioned is really a surprising fact for reyansh and he didn't imagine that pranati would do something like that. Also I feel in their college story, mostly pranati keeps running away from Reyansh out of shyness, fear or something else.. but this was happened many times between them....

When they met for the first time after 8 long years, reyansh is happy but when she yelled at him for jugnu.. he blabbered some nonsense but one thing he understands in his mind is that because of the child thing, he feels they broke up and he dislikes her mother India attitude for that one reason..

Sorry I don't know what I'm saying

Yes. Both don’t think- one before speaking and other one before reacting.

They both have a long way to go. If reyansh was at fault even pranati was. No one is perfect here both are flawed and this is what I love. I do not like perfect characters they are just annoying. That’s why I hated it when pranati was involving herself in navya’s matter.

Reyansh - Pranati - Jugnu all three need each other. They complete each other. All three are flawed characters and they bring out best in each other specially in vulnerable times. They tease , mock and irritate each other but when one person is in trouble other two stand strong like a shield.

Couldn't agree more👏

During navya track, Reyansh warned her well before she starts her battle with Dadi but she didn't care at all. We can list out many such things

1 : I agree, but he should still have tried to find out. Here, he blames her for not having done anything, whereas she didn't do it alone.

2 : One never listens smaller than oneself.

We always think that we have an answer to everything because we have lived more.

Armaan didn't speak with wisdom like Maan, but with arrogance, so it was even more difficult for Rey to listen to him!

3 : 😉

4 : Yes, today I couldn't stand his reaction at all.

5 : Now we will see how the character will evolve.

6 : You're welcome. I am an analyst by nature lol. And thank you for the support ❤️

So that sums up what I think of Prani from the beginning.

She is reckless.

Sometimes it's good, but sometimes it's not.

Pranati never thinks before acting. And Rey never thinks before talking.

They complement each other perfectly.

Sorry I don't know what I'm saying

As far as college days goes, with the scenes we have, my take is that there was

1. Lack of proper communication from both Rey & Prani. They spoke, but did they understand?

2. Overconfidence (blame immaturity) on Prani's side.

3. Both ran away from their issues.

4. Possible false promises (That I love you under the tree scene) from Rey's end.

💯 I mean how matured were we when we were 18? Come on.

Me and my bf are completely different people at 30 today.
