Exclusive: Disha Salian's fiance Rohan Rai returns to Mumbai, meets cops probing her death
Disha Salian's father Satish Salian had said in a letter to the Mumbai Police that statements regarding his daughter's rape and murder are all "cooked".
Disha Salian's fiancé Rohan Rai is currently in Mumbai and in touch with city police. Earlier, reports had suggested that Disha's fiancé Rohan Rai had escaped and could not be traced. Salian fell to her death from the 14th floor of her home in Mumbai city.
She was an employee of a company that formerly managed actor Sushant Singh Rajput.
Officials of the Mumbai Police say Rai is not needed in connection with her suicide case. The police have recorded several of his statements in connection with Disha's case and have reiterated that they do not suspect Rohan of any wrongdoing.
Investigating Disha Salian's death, the Mumbai Police is yet to clarify whether Disha Salian died by suicide or accidentally fell from her Malad flat. As per the latest inputs, the police have examined CDR, CCTV footage, statements from eyewitnesses, technical evidence, ground intelligence and medical reports in connection with the case. A closure report is likely to be filed in the coming days.
The Mumbai Police, not yes approached by the Central Bureau of Intelligence (CBI) probing actor Sushant Singh Rajput's death, has maintained that there is no connection between his death and that of Salian's.
