Yeh Rishtey The Pyaar Ke

I never thought I will be writing a farewell post for YRHPK so soon💔 I was at work when I saw the news on IG and I wanted to cry 🥺 Other shows at least get a hint that they might go off air but we got to know the final news directly..how much more worse can it get?

I feel sooo sorry for the cast and crew who worked really hard in the midst of a pandemic. They deserved better, better story and better TRP. But the writers and PH cheated them and us. I feel PH never cared for this show after the lockdown. They wrote some of the worst tracks. The trp audience cannot be blamed if even loyal audiences like me could not bear the current track. The story had so much scope after mishbir marriage but no they rushed to bachcha jaap at the speed of light 😡

I know we will get to see Rhea, Shaheer and all the other actors in some other show but we'll never get to see Mishti and Abir..two of my most favourite characters ever 🥺😭

Sorry guys for the rant, I am unable to control my emotions after hearing the news and wanted to share my thoughts

Bold-my point exactly! There was no speculation in media and directly a confirmation. This was so brutal! They have been so very unfair to the show and audience i don't think I'll watch any desi show again for a long time 🤔 they ditch you the worst way..

Yeah even until yesterday I was wishing for a better track so that the TRPs can rise but all our hopes and dreams just got shattered

I feel your pain, I was expecting this show to end but not so soon or abruptly. It’s like the makers gave us a beautiful gift last year and now snatching it away from us so cruelly.
Abir and Mishti were two most enchanting, most lovable characters written for an ITV show and their unique charming love story made us fall in love with them. But now we will have to bid goodbye to them soon and probably with all of our dreams for them unfulfilled.

This happened because the makers decided to destroy their own show to favor their new one. It’s the time slot change and bad writing in season two that doomed the show. The producer never cared for this show even though it should have made him proud for its quality and performances.

I feel sorry for the cast and crew whose hard work and perseverance in these difficult times has been overlooked and dismissed by profit hungry channel and producer. I wish the wonderful cast all the best and hope to see Shaheer and Rhea soon in new shows.
Though I know probably we will not see them together in any show again but our only solace is the 271 glorious episodes of season one which we can rewatch and enjoy in future. Probably we have 3-4 more weeks before it ends but hoping to see some happy times of Mishbir before their story gracefully retires.

Seriously I know d show was suffering but at least I thought channel will give dem second chance as it has given other show to improve d trp. Dis came as a shock 💔💔 probably RS didn't bother to fight for dis show. I guess if he had fought some how show would huv been saved at least for next 6month . everyone is schoked it's seems

You are right, we do have the season 1 and some season 2 episodes that we can cherish forever. My heart just cannot accept this news right now..maybe in a day or two but not today

bold: I don't trust the writers at all..if they didn't care for mishbir all this time, why would they care now?

Yeah the sheer abruptness of this news is what's bothering me the most. I think we all knew that YRHPK won't survive for long given the current tracks and TRP but why does it have to end so soon? Everyone including the cast, fans and news portals are in shock right now. I feel the channel and PH had decided this long back hence they gambled with the timeslot so that they can say they tried their best
