I'm voting for not. She has the might of the full govt machinery behind her and she will capitalize on that to gain funds and push their agenda through her films. Expect more Manikarnikas and Ayodhya related films.

As for the public, once the lockdown reopens, audiences will seek entertainment from whoever gives it- be it Kangu or Sara or Rakul- once we stop being housebound, dont think the public will care. Everyone needs a distraction.

The only reason for feeling sad is that the third edition of tanu weds manu might not see the light of the day... I am a big fan of Maddy.. .. It might be remade in the future, but I adore Madhavan as Manu.. 😒

Her Bollywood career would've been over by now even if she wasn't a trash mouth because age is not on her side. She has ambitions of a political career and she's currently on the right path for that.

It does. She really doesn't understand restrain. She shouldn't be on Twitter. She should have used proxy accounts like she did previously.

The thing is if she wants to get into direction, it doesn't impact her as much as it would have. That should be her next step. There aren't many women directors in Bollywood. You have Zoya, Reema, Meghna, and Konkona. So, she could be the right's answer to left-wing filmmakers.

Not that any of them are right or left. They're simply opportunists.

She should really direct a small, character-driven story. It would open a lot of avenues for her.
