I feel had kunal come to his senses n not supported kuhu in all this after he realized he was wrong mishti abir would also not have been convinced. Here to he is doing sacrifice as if he is the one having to do it. Whereas it's kuhu who has to sacrifice n abir mishti have to pay for that sacrifice of kuhu flips n looses her mind. Abir ka khoon, Abir ka DNA hi dhruv tara ban sakta hai kya. This is some bolly movie with same actor acting as father and son? Doesn't it depend on the upbringing? Adopted kid ko hamesha replacement ya compromise hi samjhenge kya, ki woh Abir ka bachha hai par Abir bhai par kabhi nahi ja sakta. And also, what if it is a girl? Phirse Kuhu surrogate banegi?
