Which city are you talking about? Because I am only seeing Takeaway in Mumbai. I think they have permission for takeaways because the food travels one way and theres no chance of contamination if only limited people are exposed to the food while cooking it. Then Zomato/Swiggy delivers it.
I can see Jaipur restaurants are all open with customers dining in. Mumbai has closed restaurants and limited them to takeaways due to the increase in cases.

Is Mumbai still in lockdown? Maybe thats why its not opened up there.
But in other places some restaurants have been given permission.
Yeah Mumbai has the highest number of cases so takeaways are the only things open. All my acquaintances are at home except for chefs.
Tbh states should avoid opening establishments completely which has closed areas like restaurants. Thats the riskiest for the spread of COVID. And stage 2 of the virus spread hasn't even started yet.

True but people will commit suicide like this. All their savings are gone. I see beggers in places where I have never seen them before. Its a pathetic situation. People will have to take their own responsibility here onwards. They can always choose not to eat in a restaurant or watch a movie. Businesses should be given a chance to function and survive. I don't see any other way with this anymore.
My heart broke when I watched this. They used to be inspirations to so many.

The govt should really do something about it. Lots of people have donated and many NGOs are still working on ground. Itne crores raise hue hai, bahot ka bhala ho sakta hai.
Because if any of these businesses open, the virus will spread like wildfire again, we might end up in stage 2 very soon, and if people chose not to spend money on restaurants and cinemas these businesses might liquidate and employees will lose their jobs forever.
