Who is the better actor?

Like them both. But SRK definitely wins!

He has great range- from playing a psychotic obsessed lover in Darr to quiet restrained person in Swades to absolutely charming roles like Kabhi Haan Kabhi Naa.

But a good test is : if I place SRK in all of Akki's best films- whether it's Hera Pheri or Padman I would still enjoy them and SRK would fit in effortlessly. But if I place Akki in some of SRK's biggest films like Kabhi Haan Kabhi Naa, Darr or DDLJ- can you imagine Akki in them? No way!!!

I do think Akki has better script sense and SRK needs to get out of the Yashraj Dharma lover boy hammy stereotype that doesn't capture half his talent and charisma and is preventing him from reinventing himself. What SRK needs to do is pull an Akshay and pick a webseries playing a juicy, complex anti hero.

Both have genres that they excel in- Akki in action and comedies and SRK in thrillers or romances but SRK is definitely the stronger actor.
