Think Mishti explained it well enough. She could confront Meenu because she realised it's not her fault and Kuhu needn't pay the price.

Nahi hone wala. Baccha hokar rahega. Kaveri says please watch to see how Kuhu reacts after she gives birth. Nahi lagta leap hone wala hai, because she also says watch to see how she handles pregnancy. But that it's a nice track and we should give it a chance.

If it was torture or blackmail then Kuhu won’t look so confident while agreeing to be surrogate. Meenu can promise a large chunk to Kuhu not her entire vasiyat
