Katrina Kaif and Deepika Padukone in a music video 17th Mar 2008  18.30 IST By ApunKaChoice   Bollywood beauties Katrina Kaif and Deepika Padukone will reportedly feature in a music video to promote the IPL team, Bangalore Royal Challengers. Shah Rukh Khan , the co-owner of Kolkata Knight Riders, has already taken the lead in promoting his team through a glossy promotional video. On the other hand, Preity Zinta has roped in singer Daler Mehendi for the anthem of her Mohali team. Now, Vijay Mallya, known for doing everything with style and lavishness, has signed Bollywood director Sanjay Gupta to make an ad film for his Bangalore team. Gupta describes the ad as "sporty, musical, high on adrenaline and action-packed". It will go on air in April. Apart from the ad, Gups will also direct a music video featuring Katrina Kaif and Deepika Padukone. It is also likely to feature cricketers like Rahul Dravid and Anil Kumble. Music director Sandeep Chowta has composed the anthem song. Deepika has particularly shown her interest in cricket in the past and was even dating Yuvraj Singh for a while before she found "true love" in Ranbir Kapoor .

Katrina, Deepika to groove with Dravid for IPL video

Just as the euphoria and excitement surrounding King Khan's video for his IPL team Kolkata Knight Riders seems to be subsiding, comes the news that the Bangalore Royal Challengers IPL team would also be soon unveiling their ad and promotional video.

For those who came in late, the Bangalore Royal Challengers IPL team is owned by none other than liquor baron Dr. Vijay Mallya and local boy Rahul Dravid is the captain. Mallya, who is known to do things in style, has roped in director Sanjay Gupta to direct the sporty and racy ad while action director Allan Amin would be in-charge of the action.

What's more, Mallya would also be coming out with a promotional music video, an anthem for his team for which music composer Sandeep Chowta has been roped in. However, what is considered the real high-point is that this video would have Rahul Dravid in the company of two sizzling hot beauties- Katrina Kaif and Bangalore girl Deepika Padukone.

Well, with Bollywood beauties grooving with our Men-in-Blue, cricket fever seems to reach an all time high this summer.
