Regressive people believe in khoon ka rishta, not dil ka Rishta
I hope in the end the story justifies the title, Rishtey hain PYAR ke .....when eventually Mishbir adopt a kid
I know yaar, i got that.
Generally in my mind, I thought that people of minds like Meenu who only think that their own blood, their own child, their home, their name etc would not be open to modern medical procedures like surrogacy, ivf etc.
In my opinion, surrogacy is still a very contentious and controversial topic, it's not accepted thoroughly at all.
If meenu can think of second marriage whilst Abir is still married, loves Mishti with all his heart, kidney, lungs...then how does a regressive thinker like her, accept surrogacy?
Just a clash of my thoughts between what is more regressive and less regressive according to BB.
I guess like you said, BB is focusing on the aspect of "khoon ka rishta" meaning that the baby will still be Abir's blood-child, meaning her blood-grandchild. So that's why she agrees that surrogacy is the next best option. She doesn't care about the surrogate/who the womb carrier will be but rather more focused on the end result of it being a blood-related child.
