Yes it had more trps, but only during initial weeks, after the entire revelation regarding who the main Naagin is and the axing off of important characters like Manyata and turning Nayantara into a vamp is what began the free fall of the entire series ratings which also ultimately turned the main Naagin of s4 into a joke. So yeah impressions of the previous season matter.

So you mean this season have nothing to offer apart from being a shadow of N4. It’s nothing on its own.

The messy N4 ended with the trp of 2.8. If we go by your logic this season’s trp should be around 3 or around 2.5 not 1.9. Because of the N4 curse 😳 par nah all this new trp ka Pura ke Pura credit belongs to this season only.

After finale trps went down every week. Which clearly indicates what ain’t working and it got nothing to do with previous season. People are bored of this same old saga with new faces.

If you’re going to talk about season 3, then I guess you would remember How season 2 actually ended, it ended with Rocky killing Shivangi and the reason for them killing her was to be revealed in season 3, and that is why the season 3 got a good rating, however even though season 2’s ratings were not as good as season 1, having retained Mouni and casting Kinshuk as the naag worked for the show, otherwise that Roshiv pairing would have turned season 2 into a flop as well.

Here season 3 had a ending accompanied by high voltage drama where everyone was waiting for Mouni’s return and that’s why it did well in the finale since it got the viewers excited and then Naagin 4 was given a grand opening with all the celebrations and all before the premier, Naagin 5 did not even get proper promos. The initial promos had Dheeraj and Hina while the story was actually about Surbhi and Sharad. And then they are promoting Bani and Jay as the couple which itself looks very bad so what do you expect? And then the revenge element is also missing... even though the story and cast is good, if it doesn’t appeal to the masses then the ratings will get affected.

Why do viewers want to see the same jhisi piti story again.

Thos concept is atleast a bit different.

I feel there are a lot of viewers that see the show on the app and the TRP ratings are from the TV viewers so maybe there is a difference there.

I was reading in some comments that people were saying that naagin 4 was called a flop but during few months it got 3+ TRP which is way higher than N5.So foop kya Hua??

I was really hoping that N5 which is a bit different with no saas bahu FL/main lead humilation crying weak track would do well.

What is wrong with TV audiences.

we already got 4 epi of kalyug and if we add satyug epis too naagin5 already had 7 epis and next two epis defo not going to have marriage so 9 epis over. even next week epis wont have marriage happening but might set base for marriage. next week they should give proper promo or else trp wont increase at all. i dont consider next two week trps bcoz no proper promotion was done.

but if they dont give proper promo next week too then i wont expect anything from them. will juz enjoy watching my fav onscreen❤️

The only reason why Naagin 4 had a huge loss in their trp was because of the corona virus. Blaming the entire season is just bogus.

but I stopped watch sess 4 even before Corona virus the story and lead are not very intersting or what to say the chemistry dose not work for them
