Look at the timeline of events and decide for yourself if all this is a coincidence.
In the second week of June, Arnab Goswami of Republic News is picked up for investigation by the Mumbai Police for the second time, for having passed communal remarks. His channel eventually becomes the number one channel which pushes forward the narrative that Sushants death was some kind of international conspiracy and the entire nation should leave everything else and only focus on finding his murderer.
Sushant dies on the 14th of June.
China attacks and kills 20 of our soldier between 15th and 16th June. No explanation whatsoever on how a country which had not attacked us in the last 40 years, suddenly kills 20 of our armed personnel. Everyone from the media to the public is shocked and scared and confused on what exactly happened. The government instead of doing an explanation, starts a narrative that the Indian side killed more than 40 of Chinese personnel too, of which there has not been a shred of proof. Moreover, China occupies several kilometers of our territory, something proved by satellite pictures, but denied by the government.
Bihar is inundated by the worst flood in recent history and several people die and are displaced because of it. On top of that, the Bihar Government is already being criticised for the way it handled its migrant labourers during the lockdown. They have an important election coming up in October, where BJP is their main ally. The government instead of helping its people, shifts the narrative to a Bihari Vs Mumbai issue and successfully convinces its people that this is the only real problem we have in hand.
CoVid starts getting worse by mid-June and India is well on its way to becoming the epicentre of the virus. The economy is getting worse day by day and our GDP has a historic fall.
The movement for Sushant picks up almost within a week of his death, with a verdict of suicide widely accepted and the blame falling on the industry and its nepotistic practices. No mention of all the above things....stuff that actually affects people in a day to day life, but the news is saturated with Sushant...and theories began floating about what happened to him. The more chaos happening in the country, the more steam this case picks up. People become obsessed by who killed him, what happened to him, why it happened to him and looking at the fact that this case was the one bringing TRP's, Timesnow joins the bandwagon.
Please also note, there was barely any mention of Rhea in the media, till Sushant's father filed a complaint, naming her. Then the media was practically forced to abandon its earlier narrative of blaming Bollywood elites and shift attention on Rhea, because in anyway possible, they had to keep this news hot and burning and keep distracting people from what is really happening in the country.
This is a classic troupe used by politicians and leaders for centuries....whenever there is a problem which is very big, very real and which cannot be solved...invent a new one, that doesn't really exist in the first place. Drum up frenzy for the non-existent problem and keep it just serious enough to make people believe that they can actually solve this problem, if they all come together.
