Kunal: "I trust you, Maa, completely."

Ritvik! Ritvik! Ritvik! Man! Those expressions! Going from drinking coffee to remembering last Holi to feeling hurt to giving his Maa a fake smile to being thankful for the support and to expressing his appreciation for his mother. Damn! Every gif here had a different expression which held a different meaning.

Coming back to the scene and pointing out the thing that has been bothering me since I re-watched this scene, she promised him that the decision would be his but she didn't even let him speak when they reached the Maheshwari House. The guy couldn't even meet Kuhu before she snubbed all hopes of them being together😭.

Thanks aqua for not only posting the gifs but the dialogues and analysis too. 👍🏼 for the time and effort invested in making a coherent storyline through gifs!

That's what Meenu was doing for a long time. She made the decisions but made him believe that that is what he wanted i.e. is diving into work after his heartbreak.

IKR?! I loved that scene. Unfortunately, we never got more scenes like this but I absolutely adore this scene.

So true! He's always done everything that his Maa and bhai told him to. I wish he could have gotten to take his own decisions. He still doesn't. Everything has to be about these 2 people. Someone empower Kunal fgs!

He was finally starting to discover or wanting to discover himself. Accepting his feelings for Kuhu and wanting to be with her was his first step towards that. And then... well the less said, the better. Now he's back to being Nanko. 🤦

Kuhu spots Kunal

"Sportscar!!"

She really has the attention span of a goldfish. So easily distracted! She forgets all her hurt as soon as she sees her sportscar😆

Kuhu tries talking to Kunal

"Hi kahoon ya hello?"

"Nahi. Isse lagega ladki zyada hi forward hai #ChaaluLadki.

Isse hi kehne deti hoon."

"Aise toh Diwali beet jaayegi, phir bhi baatein shuru nahi hongi"

"Mai hi shuru karti hoon"

Kuhu to Kunal: "Hi! Maine tumhe pehle bhi dekha hai.

Tumhaari red sportscar mein"

Kuhu: "Aaaaoow!!"

Kunal: "Kahaan gayi?"

This scene is so great to get more depth into Kuhu's character. She spots Kunal, goes to talk to him, makes sure she looks good for her first impression on Kunal, and contemplates how she should start the conversation. She then stops herself remembering, probably Varsha's (and the society's) training on how to behave when you meet someone for an arranged marriage, so decides to let the guy start the conversation but seeing that he is not making a move, she decides to forego the traditional stereotypes and start the conversation only to be pulled away by Mishti (for an earring, really?! Can't you see that she is in the middle of talking to someone, that she most probably knew was the reason they came to holi party in the first place? I swear this girl has no sense of time and place).
