Social issues must be addressed , at the same time , the treatment and execution is also imp. We watch dramas to get entertained,if we get depressed , then how will the victims feel ? Will it give strength to them ? In all the dramas I have seen so far, circumstances change in the favour of oppressed and justice is served. Thereby suggesting that one day the oppressor will be punished by god . Does that happen in real life ?the wait may be endless . The life doesnt end in 24 epis.
What they really need to show is , women taking a stand for their education ...like it was shown in suno chanda..... and how positively her husband and her family supports her . Another example is kashaf from zgh. After marriage also she continued to work , earn for herself , helped her mother, and she didnt take any help from her husband and the husband also was a self made man. So these stories r really inspiring plus they are entertaining and written perfectly.
We may not agree to her approach but shehwar was an inspiring character for all the housewives. Point is she achieved what she aimed for and made peace with it. She brought the change in her life by her attitude . Khirad was an inspiring character..daneen was an inspiring character.. girls who did something to change the situation around them. Women from suno yaara , all of them were written well ..normal women who we can relate to..zubiya from yakeen ka safar..she is a tormented soul , yet she rises ..her journey was fantastic . Even ayeza s character in koi chand rakh.
How women tackles the problems in her life be it career or husband or in laws or children is mostly shown in the dramas ( which is shown fairly well I think ) but again , it's mostly depending on "one day things will improve for me ".. Generally women r either bitching types or totally ott Angels, both kinds r extremes...
A very wrong way of passing a message through dramas..shows like..mere pass tum.ho..ishquia...deewangi ...jalan...mta..for eg mere paas tum.ho. a wife cheats on her husband . Big deal ho gaya na emotional story dikha diya. Why kill the husband for no reason ? Punish the wrong doers along with that make the innocent suffer so much that they die or end up in asylum ? Deewangi....bewafa khud hai hero, bole jaa raha hI heroine ko bewafa. Ishquia was all about what not to do in a relationship yet they glorified all the wrong actions in the name of empowerment. In the end viewers were left confused as to what was the social message which they wanted to give.
