Whole day people watch news channels, same news and more news repeated in a dramatic way.. its only conditioning people to act in a certain way... of course it's going to affect ones psyche, it doesn't matter what the topic of the news is.. positive or negative.. doesn't matter..

Best is to watch Doordarshan News. Matter of fact news and nothing else.

We were happier when there was only one channel and no social media.

You can watch Wion too. I love Palki and her reporting. It is free from this circus.

I was watching some clips yesterday and was really disturbed by the physical hounding of Rhea and her family outside their house by the papz and so-called journalists, hitting them, throwing stuff at them, shoving mics at them and so forth. What the hell do they even want?!! She hasn't been proven guilty yet and people need to hold their horses instead of acting like wild animals. The lack of humanity is truly astonishing.

Something is seriously wrong with the media too, they print anything without any fact-check and will even make up outlandish lies to click bait or sell their stuff. Indian government needs to find a way to hold them accountable for what they write or publish if they are completely baseless. Only direct interviews are reliable at the moment--everything else is just noise.

Few months back times of India got fined and warning from press council of India for printing over inflated number of Coronavirus cases in the country. Republic TV will be fined too.

Yes that video was extremely disturbing and that isn’t journalism. The media’s standard of discourse has been lowered so much by the likes of Republic, there is lack of basic human decency. It is barbaric and those applauding and seeking pleasure by this harassment are the TRP audience who’s lapping this up.
