Mental health and Sushant

Do people with mental health issues sometimes die by suicide because of the illness ? - Yes.

Do people with mental health issues die by suicide as a resultant of blackmail, gaslighting and foul play ?? - Yes.

In Sushant's case it's the LATTER. You just cannot make him the poster boy of mental health awareness when there is a very complex scenario of mental & emotional abuse , gaslighting, blackmailing involved.

This generalised opinion about Sushant lovers lack mental health awareness is very uncalled for.

I for example still believe it's a suicide and I have no problems in accepting he had mental health issues . Having mental health illness has got to do NOTHING with how passionate he was about his life, his dreams , how intelligent he was , etc.

However, it has to be proven in court. The doctors, their diagnosis, the treatment and most importantly the environment he was living in will be the most under the scanner.

P.S - Please don't throw brickbats at me for saying it's a suicide. I am very confused about a lot of things and a lot of things do not add up and has left me very puzzled and confused too. However ,I still need a proper concrete proof about it being homicide . Till then I would like to stick to suicide.

There are two kinds of depression, one is the normal cases of depression that are caused by life happenings or situations and the second is, clinical depression that just causes the person to experience severe symptoms of depression without any rhyme or reason.

According to MP and his psychiatrists statements, SSR suffered from manic depression or bipolar which is a type of clinical depression.

It's very serious and requires medication or else the person's mind goes haywire. Having seen it up close, it's unbelievable how much the mind can control a person affected with manic depression.

For manic depression, the low phase is so drastic that a person can be driven to kill themselves. I have said before I think Sushant got so paranoid that he took this step.

No one forced him to, no one bullied him to. It was his mind that made him believe this was the best decision.

And no, people with depression are not crazy nor do they have to be uneducated to get depression. It can happen to anyone, but more with people with already a history of mental illness in the family. Just like cancer and diabetes.

I would like to add here that when he died, many industry people came out with their sad stories on how they were also depressed. These are different from the kind of depression Sushant and those with bipolar suffer. The only thing that pushed him and drove him to do this is his mind.

As I said before, his death could have been avoided if a loved one was there with him to stop him from believing what his mind was telling him to.

How is abedment to suicide even registered as an FIR is beyond me. This is impossible to prove in court because its absolutely ridilicous, just like every other theory going around.

Gaslighting , blackmail and a toxic and abusive relationship is not a one day thing. It's an attack on the mind over a period of time. And if it's proved that Sushant was suffering from a severe mental illness and Rhea was in the know how ...her each and every action will be under the scanner. Rhea blocking his number when he was desperately trying to call her after Disha's death will not help her case at all.

Yes I know the accused in abetment to suicide cases even with suicide notes rarely get punished in India. I know this filth will get away scott free. 🤢

I can say that he couldn't take the blackmail , gaslighting anymore and took the step. Rhea taking away his medical files, blocking his number became the main trigger .

So tired seeing people here lecture how Sushant fans are dumb and don't know anything about mental health.

Just my opinion:

From what I've seen, he could have had anxiety, claustrophobia and insomnia. But the bipolar thing sounds false. It takes a long time to diagnose someone with bipolar. And Dr Shetty is retweeting everything about him not diagnosing Sushant with depression or bipolar speaks volumes.

Also, claustrophobia doesn't mean that you can never fly in a flight. Many claustrophobic people have no problem flying in flights, using his one statement to make a case of how he couldn't board flights sounds like an attempt to use his own words against him when he is no more to defend himself. But it's to be expected, after all Rhea has the best and most expensive lawyer in the country by her side.

This is a false accusation by the family. When MP asked them, they didn't mention any such thing. Besides if Rhea wanted to out SSR's illness, she wouldn't have stayed with him for so long and helped him. It doesn't make sense.

Watch how their lawyer turned it around to Rhea saying that she left and didn't let the family know about his illness. Its like, its all her fault and not theirs. He doesn't mention that allegation in the FIR anymore. Now its about her leaving and not letting the family know about what he was suffering from.

Rhea called out Rohini for troubling SSR, she cared deeply about him enough to bring this to MP's notice and to say it publicly.
