That is literally no reason to absolve your sexual abuser. In fact a woman would feel relieved if her sexual abuser died because she would feel better that she is safe from him forever now.

He did not abuse her sexually, that's why. She feels guilt because she knows she took so long to refute these rumours. And she only did so at their request.

She cannot prove anything now as the person who was considered as accused is dead. If SSR did something, then its natural justice. If this was a fake allegation, then she should be tried.

She wasn't the one who spread it. After all, she was a newcomer with no clout or backing in the industry so how could she have this much power to spread it. I believe something did happen, that's why she didn't do anything at first.

Who ever spread the news should be brought before law. How come this person did not contact police in such a serious accusation?

Then the journalist published this news and the editor should be questioned. You cannot use a victim's and accused name publically in a sensitive case like sexual abuse.
