I only saw the first few minutes of today's episode. Karan was reminiscing the wedding and the sweet moments with her and Kareena throwing her out. Usually there's a monologue followed where he goes why did you do this or I don't care or something. He just yelled preeta. Some could say that one word is enough to cover his turmoil but the flashbacks shown were weird. So maybe there's more to it after all but it's safe to wait for few more episodes to make sure it isn't lollipop.

Or it could also be like he finally realizes how horrible he has been to her but at one side he thinks she deserves it and on the other he is not sure about it. Which is why the turmoil.
