I was called anti national and Gaddar at the time of ADHM by some because I was not ready to hate Fawad Khan...😆....iss forum se anti-national ka certificate mil gaya.....OMG...my life was ruined...

Waise Hindustan mein Hindu khatre mein hai...carries as much weight as white people trying to cry reverse racism in USA....matlab kuchh bhi😳

Ummm please don't compare Hindu people with white people. Hindu people are not the ones who oppressed anyone in the entire history of Hinduism.

I think she was talking about how there's no threat to Hinduism in India just like there's no threat of racism against white people in the US.

But I agree that Hindus are known for religious tolerance and the barbarism that comes with the history of white population is not something anyone would want to be associated with even remotely.

Not sure what position you're taking in this argument, but I'm sure Hindus aren't in the majority everywhere. India is a big country, after all, despite the name Hindustan. When India and Pakistan were at loggerheads last year, I don't know the full details but I'm sure both sides made plenty of unsavory remarks against each other--one isn't any more or less "moral" than the other as far as I'm concerned.

About the Palghar mob lynching incident, this was my source (assuming it's reliable) : https://www.opindia.com/2020/04/palghar-lynching-hindu-sadhu-zee-news-report-pre-planned-christian-missionary-left-ncp/amp/

But later videos emerged which completely debunked the claim of police, as it was seen that the sadhus were in the custody of the police, but the police personnel handed them over to the mob. The mob then proceeded them to beat them to death in front of the policemen.

🤢 Such is the police personnel in India. Shame on them! These are the people who give their entire profession a bad name--people have no faith in them and rightly so.

India is an extremely diverse country so even among the Hindus there's a lot of clash, there's a lot of South Indian Hindus who don't like the North Indian Hindus and vice versa. In the Godhra train burning incident a bunch of Hindus were targeted and killed. It happens both ways, yes the minority suffers more but this isn't like USA or the west or any part of the world where white people are put on a sort of pedestal because of the colonial influence. There have been many Hindus who get killed too for being Hindu in India. Whereas white people are rarely killed for just being white, they enjoy a certain privilege that isn't the same case as in India because India has a lot of varied religions.

Either way, religion is the root of this evil and divides people. Hopefully people will see that with the coming generations.

Why so much hatred for ur own country and its government

I have no issues with the government. In fact I like Narendra Modi.

Kangana only bootlicks so she can continue with her venom spewing without of fear of getting arrested.

Bollywood will go any where if they get power or awards in return.

Aamir is an idiot who does hate the religion followed by majority of Indians. He is only thinking about himself.

For the uninitiated, Rangoli had tweeted, "A Jamati died of Corona when police and doctors went to check their families they were attacked and killed, secular media, make these mullahs + secular media stand in a line and shoot them dead...f****k the history they may call us nazis who cares, life is more imp than the fake image (sic)"

I'm guessing this tweet by Rangoli in reaction to that one particular incident is where it all started. How did people manage to pin something serious like ethnic cleansing/genocide on Kangna after this tweet?

Civil responses only--thanks! (For example--boo kangana go to hell, etc -- I'm not interested. If you can answer logically, then please go ahead)

Hey. I know you want serious responses only so I wanted to ask you something first- do you think this tweet was okay? Whether by Rangoli or Kangana, I want to understand if you think this tweet was not hateful? I'm genuinely not being sarcastic. Just want to know what you think first.

Okay I'll answer at the risk of digging a hole for myself here. I wasn't aware of this Mordabad incident and her tweet while it was happening in real-time. I'm looking at them now and it looks like many people felt strongly about the attack then and wanted the perpetrators punished. Rangoli's tweet does look hateful/nasty cuz of her choice of words--no denying that.

But on the less popular side, KR came out to clarify that words didn't come out right and they wanted the perpetrators punished--not the entire population. Are we gonna discount that completely? KR's clarification doesn't excuse Rangoli's rash choice of words and she got the flak for it but at the same time, it should take more than a nasty tweet to label someone a Nazi/genocide supporter and equate their intentions to the same level of violence. That's what I think.

You certainly don't have to treat alternative views as equally valid or "right", but rarely is it the case that only one viewpoint has a complete monopoly on reason and evidence. So I'm not a fan of seeing Nazi and genocide being used every other sentence on the forum in every thread on KR by people who don't even know what they're talking about.
