What a lovely message you've left me. It's often a sore point that after putting in the kind of effort into research on the technical points - Like making sure there is actually a restaurant called Capella in Salt Lake in Kolkata - there aren't that many people who are gracious enough to leave messages. I know everyone is busy and stuff, but sometimes these kind of messages are the only fuel that makes me want to continue a piece.

i live in the UK so don't know much about the geographical locations of India but really appreciate the details in your story. someone who invests that much into their story is passionate about it & that comes across in your story. the way you write the characters, show their emotions & include all minute details is the sign of a great writer (i try to leave good comments, sorry if i forget to mention things šŸ¤” will try harder next time)

I'll definitely be unraveling Rishabh. But it will be a slow, gradual process. I just don't buy into characters who change their personality overnight. šŸ˜•

totally agree with that. RB seems like the kind of guy that would be a very hard nut to crack.

Which is why Prerna is the more emotive one. She's always been a lot free-er with her emotions.

I work in the economics field. And what I don't know - I research. I'm not joking when I say, I spent quite a bit of time understanding how SEBI operates. Like if they can arrest and stuff. 🤣

I've never commented on the business side of you're story because i know absolute next to nothing about it. you could be chatting waffles & i wouldn't know the difference lol 🤣 because I'm from the UK i don't even know what SEBI is šŸ˜†but i do love all the hardwork & detail you put into it.

I'm so thrilled you liked the Hades and Persephone allusions. It was a defining moment in the story.

(think i mentioned my appreciation for that too, it's so apt)

Again, thank you for your kind words.

Oh, I was rehearsing what to mention to you in the morning šŸ˜‚ I slept at 3 because I couldn’t put down your story and then kept wondering how to express how talented I found you.

And I get it. When I used to write FFs, it was really only people’s response that kept me going for so long. I have a natural tendency to criticise my own writing till I am sick of it, so despite a great response, I left some stories midway. The guilt of not sticking to my word and disappointing readers is why I am taking it slow now and intend to fully finish a fan fiction before publishing it anywhere. It’s a weird situation. You get a good response finally and then your own critical nature or laziness gets the better of you. I sincerely hope that is not the case with you. You have gone on for 20+ chapters AND brought me out of IF hibernation! šŸ‘

And yes, you should absolutely take your time in unravelling the characters. That’s what I loved about your writing. The simmering of the story and the characters made it much more real.

The SEBI part was truly impressive. I can totally believe the amount of time you took to understand the functioning. The business details you insert like the preference, equity shares swapping are technical details, hence my curiosity about your profession šŸ˜„

Would you consider uploading your story onto your profile’s fan fiction section? So that I can just follow it directly instead of requesting a PM? I read one of Aparna’s fanfictions and she did it through this method. PM’ing is just additional work for an author and no fun. Lemme know āœŒļø

That's great. Are you working on a story right now? Let me know and I'll pop over and read it when you post it. Aparna is one of my favorites too! I keep telling her to finish. šŸ’”

You should also definitely read amigos. That's her handle and she writes beautifully.

And I haven't figured out how IF works. I couldn't send pms also. It was so frustrating. But if I can figure out how to upload the story on my profile, I'll do it for sure.

How do you go find a writer in the fan fiction section? I have been trying to look for it and wasn’t able to without scrolling 100’s of pages.
i also have been reading aparna’s writing and she’s great.

Soha, if you could figure what girl- enchanted suggested, it’ll be amazing. IF’s pm has gotten a little weird and confusing.

Well, yes, I am working on a story slowly and steadily. But I am not at the same level as you. You are almost at a novel writer stage. I prefer sticking to three to four shots with steamy scenes or atleast I used to šŸ¤·ā€ā™€ļø Plus, I am currently working on Naagin 5 for the first time, so that’s also not everyone’s cup of tea šŸ˜‚

Wow, thanks for the author recommendation! Can’t wait to check out amigos. Do you have any more to recommend?

Hey, I just got of IF hibernation, so I have no idea how any of this works anymore šŸ˜‚ I clicked on a link mentioned in Aparna’s FF thread and then I got the option to follow the story on her fan fiction page. She would be the best person to solve this mystery.
