Who remembers that from April 2009-June 2009 no films released and rest of 2009 had to be reshuffled and sometimes 6 films released a week

I remember it. The 2nd half of 2009 was over crowded with multiple films every week .8*10 Tasveer starring Akshay was the last film to release and it had free run of more than two months still bombed.New York was the first significant release after strike .

Christmas 2008 Ghajini broke all opening records and lifetime records

Due to this strike and release people were impatient that when Saif’s Love Aaj Kal opened in July 2009 it challenged ghajini opening 😆😆 What a time

What caused the strike? 🤔 I remember the TV industry shut down for about 2 months due to a lady's complaint of indecent content 😆
