I agree. Both girls are suffering due to childhood issues and its not solved till now because no one pays attention. On top of Meenu is using these character traits against these girls. I might support Kuhu more maybe I quite attached to her character except her issues with Mishti which is dramatic for trp. They were never happy and just had happy moments. Thats what make these character interesting. So my perception about Mishti might be little wrong as focus more on Kuhu. I definitely feel for both girls for their issues. I wanted them to have support but in serial world, its not gonnahappen.

Yeah I wish Karishma to return but the mother who abandoned her own daughter to get remarried won’t return now, unless she has an ulterior motive. She didn’t seem very motherly to Mishti back then, it was Naitik Akshara Naksh Naira who used to pamper Mishti and take care of her, Mishti’s parents were always selfish people!

As far as I remember Devyani was deeply embarrassed at her own son Naman’s criminal acts of kidnapping and trying to kill Naitik, who is her stepson. Although Naitik Naira Naksh nobody in Singhania house would hold it against Mishti but Devyani felt guilty for Naman’s actions. Besides in Udaipur news of his crime had spread and Mishti was getting bashed at school for being a criminal’s daughter. So she was sent to Rajkot to BM whom Devyani requested to bring up Mishti as her own!

In YRKKH just before our show began, they showed Kuhu and Mishti went to Udaipur to get some college forms signed by BM and Varsha ( who were visiting Naira)

They showed Mishti is so angry at her grandma for sending her away that she wasn’t even talking to Devyani or replying to her and Devyani looked hurt and sad. The 2 girls were shown in 2-3 episodes in that YRKKH track.

Yeah Naitik is alive but rarely shown in YRKKH which is all about Naira-Kartik and Goenka family now

Mishti’s background story shows why she’s so afraid of losing her loved ones again because she already lost a loving family before, she was loved and pampered at Singhania house in her childhood

OMG SAME. I really want to see Karishma in the show. Naman was very disappointing but hopefully they show Karishma as a strong character

Some clarifications: Kuhu is not adopted, she’s the biological daughter of Shaurya, his love child from Neha with whom he had an affair while away on business. Varsha was going to leave Mah house after Shaurya brought Kuhu home when her bio mom died. Varsha stayed back when BM and all Mah house ladies wanted to leave home alongwith her to show their support. Then Varsha slowly accepted Kuhu as her daughter and then overcompensated by spoiling her rotten to prove to herself and others that she loves Kuhu as her own child!

So Kuhu is not adopted but biological progeny of the Mah family. Mishti isn’t formally adopted either, rather she’s the foster child of BP BM, who welcomed her into the family when Devyani (Mishti’s real grandma) sent her away to BM after Mishti’s father Naman tried to kill Naitik after kidnapping him for usurping his wealth.
So Mishti is the outsider while Kuhu is the “real daughter “ of Mah family. Nepotism here too!

They have clearly differentiated between the two girls’ upbringing, BM BP teaching Mishti to be responsible and mature while Varsha Shaurya and Jasmeet indulged and spoiled Kuhu and ignored all her misdeeds, pushed them under the rug and Jas even encouraged her to belittle Mishti!
Hence Kuhu thinks she has every right to insult and bully Mishti at the drop of a hat while Mishti answers back but still tries to take the higher ground and try to be sisterly.

Mishti is buried under the burden of gratitude to Mahs for giving her a family life! I really despise Devyani for sending Mishti to live with Mahs. Naitik is not the type to hold a grudge against Mishti for her father’s crimes and Naitik, Naksh, Naira all are very fond of Mishti! Then why was she sent away to a different city to live with paraya people?

Now Mishti has to pay for her sister’s sins because her foster parents expect her to take responsibility!

As for Kuhu I believe she is a born Narcissist who are usually cruel, spiteful and selfish people! Of course Varsha, Jasmeet fed her ego and made her worse instead of rectifying it!

And you’re right, I doubt if Kuhu really loves Kunal. She called him Sports Car for a long time because that was his attraction for her- the sports car, the good looks, the riches. She wanted Kunal as an eye candy, a rich handsome dashing business tycoon who would look great beside her on social media.

Kuhu lives and dies for social media, for fame and glamor, she craves attention and glory (all traits of Narcissism) and her ultimate dream is Mishti’s downfall and Mishti out of her life! She’s extremely materialistic too as she herself admitted that Gucci bags are her first love!

All the time she put up with Kunal’s anger and rejection after marriage and still stayed with him was because of her Ego! She didn’t want to return to Mah house admitting a failed marriage! No, her ego wouldn’t allow that, though she claimed she was doing it to not hurt her family. Also Kuhu was enjoying Mishti’s absence in her life and being the center of attention at RJV sadan!

But again Mishti arrived there as the Badi bahu and Kuhu was madly jealous and insecure again of her position in the family as Parul’s Bahu and Mishti as BB’s bahu. She doesn’t appreciate her loving saas Parul and treats her like a piece of furniture most of the time as opposed to how Mishbir treat Parul.

Kuhu is extremely mean, materialistic and Egotistical, She has very few redeeming qualities except for her sudden sympathy for Mishti when the latter breaks down completely and sinks to the bottom of the metaphorical pool, then only Kuhu tries to pull her up.

That basic bond is still there which was revealed during their drunken acting out at Holi. Probably with this disgusting Surrogacy track writers want to bring out that point, first Kuhu does everything to break Mishti then puts the pieces together when Mishti is totally broken, just like Kuhu broke and mended the dollhouse.

I will reserve my judgement about Abir now but will wait and watch how he treats Mishti during this track, perhaps he just wants to make real peace between the 2 sisters, because he wants to coexist peacefully and he wants Nanko to be happy in his married life.

Yes, Abir is prioritizing Nanko again, Nanko was his anchor from childhood after Baba left, so he clings onto Nanko for dear life, yes even more than Mishti! He rejected Mishti cruelly for Nanko’s sake, if Mishti had not returned from London and fought for her love, would Abir have tried to get her back in his life? Would he? Yeah that’s how it is Always Nanko before Mishti!

Kuhu’s spiteful nature is evident in her childhood scenes in YRKKH, though back then she was a Mishti Didi Bhakt because then Mishti lived with Singhanias and had not invaded Kuhu’s own home!

Kuhu snatched Mishti’s wedding mandap, so lovingly decorated by Mishbir the night before. Not only that, Kuhu was deliberately delaying even after her wedding rituals were over she wasn’t leaving the mandap even though BM BP were tense that shadi Mahurat would be over! That’s Kuhu’s reality! She didn’t want Mishti to marry Abir and invade her domain RJV sadan and for that she was happily sacrificing her so called Bro’s happiness also!

If Mishti hadn’t arranged for the bus top wedding Mishbir would miss their mahurat and wouldn’t be able to get married that day! Perhaps that would have been better for us fans as post wedding everything seems to be going down the drain, thanks to Kuhu’s toxic jealousy and Meenu’s evil plotting.

Characters are not one dimensional but most of these people fall into certain personality types!
Abir is a pacifist and escapist, Kunal is a Loyalist, Kuhu is a Narcissist and Mishti is a Realist!

@bold : On a lighter note I would say same same different different 😂.but even then for her the main person to accept her was Varsha..she adopted Kuhu as her daughter ryt.....I just meant this point..

And she is not insecure about her bond with Varsha even slightly...

The relationship that was difficult to forge at that time and circumstances has now become a steel bond.

Kuhu was Mishti Bhakt when the latter lived in Singhania house, but when Mishti “invaded” Kuhu’s home as a permanent resident then Kuhu started hating her! If you watched Kuhu’s childhood clip she was already rather mean and spiteful not kind and forgiving like Mishti. Kuhu’s issues are with Mishti only, not with her own sister Ananya or even her 2nd cousin Nannu. Basically it’s a matter of blood ties, Ananya and Nannu are related to her by blood while Mishti is an outsider, a charity case.

I believe people like Kuhu are born that way and their upbringing makes them worse. In Kuhu’s case it was Jasmeet’s spitefulness encouraging Kuhu’s innate meannness and Varsha’s overprotective mothering that made Kuhu’s narcissism worse.
Kuhu says all the time “Main aur Mera Kuhuness” that is such a glaring proof of her narcissism, I, Me and Myself!

Kuhu feels better about herself when she abuses and insults Mishti. It’s not about insecurity, Kuhu is quite secure in her parents love and a secure home. But being a narcissist she enjoys targeting Mishti whose real parents deserted her. Like cruel Narcissist Meenu who keeps on saying Mishti comes from a broken home, Narcissists enjoy bullying vulnerable people!
What’s ironic is they all come from broken homes and Abinal also have a criminal father like Mishti does!
But facts don’t matter to bullies, they always bully soft targets and Mishti is Kuhu’s whipping boy!

God knows how everyone expects Mishti to manage Kuhu when none of them are even trying. This show has become a joke now, making Mishti the universal victim and scapegoat!

Meenakshi Rajvansh

Special mention to Rupal Ma'am for etching in our minds the formidable Meenakshi Rajvansh

The character itself is the epitome of huge Ego....

In the beginning she is shown as the one who knows what is happening in her house even before it happens....ketki missing and only Meenakshi is in control of the situation taking charge...

And her way of judging people is put in front of us...

By merely weighing a sane and practical advice given by Mishty to Ketki...she formed her opinion on that girl as not fit for marriage anywhere...

The basic flaw starts from that point..

Poor judge of character..

We are yet to be cleared about mehul - Meenakshi - Parul triangle..

Like if she ran away with mehul why didn't she live in rajgad?

Why Nanu would bring him back as Ghar jamai..?

And how come the all knowing Meenakshiii couldn't catch her husband's infidelity..?

Many questions remain to be answered..

But being a poor judge of character and being cheated on love added to financial insecurities and the weakness/ strength which urged her to take in her husband's unlawful wife with their kid...made her bitter and hard...

She found out that for a problem to be solved it had to be met head - on..

The rishtha swapping...on the spot decision ..just because Kuhu was wearing an earring!

Just an explosion...she never thought Maheswaris will move forward with the Mishnal rishtha...her plan flops.

She always undermined Mishty after identifying her as the jhumke wali...

But before she could plot anything Mishty herself broke the alliance.. again plan flops.

Then her ingenious way to use Kuhu...who blind in her love for Kunal did whatever was told by Meenakshi through Kunal...when Kuhu's interferences backfired she sought to face to face confrontation with Mishty... blackmailing her to malign her own family and leave Rajkot..that too never ever intending to keep her part of the deal..!!

Again plan flopped in two levels..

Kuku happened by Abir's stubbornness

Mishty returned by Abir's declaration of love..

Next war against Mishty can only be described as backstabbing...

The Meenakshi who should feel indebted to Mishty her whole life for taking away the thorn that all these years bruised her relationship with Abir ...Just backstabbed her in a snap...

Temporary victory for 3 months where she had to see the shell of her son going through the motions of life...

And even after seeing that she plotted with Nannu...manipulating his insecurities as well as Maheswaris pressure points...

I like to believe that the thought of her actions being responsible for the near death of her son momentarily shook her and it was in that moment she agreed to accept Mishty as her DIL.

Whoever proclaiming aloud that she wants to keep her family United ...bikharne nahi denge..etc would they do the exact opposite..?.

That's Meenakshi Rajvansh for you...

Manipulating Kuhu...sharpnel incident, pills incident

instigating jas . shivrathri pooja..

she does all she could without being caught..

But still delivered a flop !!

Now in the PTSD track it's obvious that she maintained her interference in Mishbir life but supported Mishty through and through to get past the ordeal...

MishKu track...I found her genuine albeit being the person responsible for fanning the enmity between the sisters..that she had accepted them as her bahus and the girls should maintain the decorum in their relationship.

Till now she tried manipulation, blackmailing and backstabbing...all to achieve her goals...was anyone's happiness her priority in doing all these things??

The answer is NO..!!

And that stands true in this infertility/ surrogacy track..

Now emerges the true colors of BB aka MM... Master Manipulater..

Her being a mom to Abir or Kunal..Questionable

Her being a friend in need ...to Parul..the motive.. Questionable

Her being a sister to Koslu... Questionable..

All her relationships are in tatters today...

Just because.. she says she couldn't attend any of her children's school functionsand therefore she want to attend that of her own son's kid.!!!

That's love???

To stab Kunal just like that...

To hurt Abir just like that..

The consistency with which all her plans flop can be directly attributed to her poor judgement of people..

All through out the series she is a character who dread being happy...

Who is unhappy at being happy..

Who likes to surround herself with misery..

Of course misery needs company and people finding happiness in whatever God had given them doesn't fit in her house..
