Exactly! His dad who is head of cheel clan was the one who saw naagvansh as enemy of cheel. Aakesh on the other hand wasn't shown to have any ill-feelings towards naagvansh, and he was shown as more cunning and a trickster rather than ruthless.

OMG I loved kinshuk in season 2. He really surprised me because he totally owned the naag role and suit it well.

aakesh was never interested in naagmani he was just obeying his father's order like a obedient son he was more interested in naageshwari

even when he entered the temple his focus was only nageshwari rather than naagmani he is a powerful cheel with super powers he could have attacked nageshwari and steal the naagmani but he didn't infact he happily accepted death by the hands of his love

kinshuk was amazing as rudra and a true friend of shivangi

aakesh went after naag clan bcoz he thought they attacked cheels...in his entry scene he heard that cheels were attacked by naags (he didnt even hear any explanation by his dad. his dad was going to stop him bcoz it was not dark). he got angry and gone to naagclan. what was unexpected was seeing naageshwari.

I like Sharad M (I never watched any of his shows) in the current season Surbhi is lacking in something what I cant pinpoint ATM

Aakesh was never a full fledged villain in the first place. He was a cheel and he lived with the principle that might is right. It was his nature to hunt but he was never greedy after the Naagmani. All he ever wanted was Naageshwari.

Veer,just like Aakesh,is grey. He has been raised in the 21st century among humans which is why he has a moral compass and doesn't follow the law of the jungle. Otherwise even he doesn't hesitate to go out of the way when it comes to getting what he wants. He was ruthless when it came to punishing Noor for betraying his friend but didn't want to kill her because that was more than what she deserved.

As far as the previous male leads are concerned then,as an individual character,Mahir was the best one out of them. He was principled and intelligent.He was a rare occurrence in Ektaland and was what we call a strong and interesting positive character. Pearl brought out his intensity and charm beautifully. AB had an amazing chemistry with Mouni in S1 but that was it. As an individual character,Ritik was too sweet for my liking. No comments on Rocky and Dev.

Rocky misunderstood Shivangi.But he was not grey.right?
