However, I then started noticing a pattern as I watched more of her interviews. I noticed she contradicted herself fairly often depending on the interview setting, who the interviewer and/or the audience was. The final straw for me was when she said she grew up in a house full of pets in one interview and then in the other interview she literally said she didn’t like animals.

Okay biatch here’s the thing, if you grew up with pets, there’s no way in fckuing ever loving hell you can make such a blanket statement where you instantly say you dislike animals. Secondly, I don’t trust people that dislike animals. Period. I canceled her then and there. 🤷🏽‍♀️

What. Who could dislike animals?!

No freaking way. I can’t believe she said that. She’s basically a PR made/coached. I don’t think it was any interview, but it was my sister who kept pointing out certain things from her video interviews that made me realize that she was completely faking it. Esp the wearing indian outfits and how traditional she was, then 💥 LAK 2 happened and she opened her self up to a while new life. Also, she’s got no star quality, and she’s not good looking. Like an eye sore. At least Jhanvi is pretty.

absolutely not..

its all about easy career for them.. there's no love for the craft, no self awareness, no wanting to better themselves and perform better..

also why would they? when they have people blindly supporting them ...why would you have an incentive to perform better when their mediocre and outright terrible work are hailed as "great" by the industry...

The fault is ours. We worship them, but when actual good talent comes by, we don’t support it, and the treatment they receive by the insiders makes them act out. I don’t want to point out to anyone, but just look at the response against Kangana, but similar or worse comments have been made by other stars, but they get away with it.

dude have you seen that montage of her doing a namaste sign in different settings? i saw it somewhere in this forum..it looks so pretentious like she is doing a campaign for some basmati rice..

she has indulged in cultural appropriation too in the past..and when i pointed it out people on this forum pounced at me .. desi people don't realise that cultural appropriation is very problematic...

I thought you posted that scene from LAK where she was doing meh meh like Atif Aslam. Last time a twitter comedian posted that clip, her PR made him delete the post.

I have not, but I saw this video of her trying to be witty and found it super cringe: https://www.instagram.com/p/B9wgYRmpPH7/?igshid=7kkl7iiix02x

Are you talking about the photoshoot in Masai Mara? That was completely inappropriate. Apparently she had a degree in History from Columbia. You’d think someone would’ve learned the injustice done to black bodies in America and colonial Africa, but nope. And then she posted ALL LIVES MATTER post as well. How dumb do you have to be? She studied in NYC, one of the most segregated city in America, and while the years she was attending there were high profile cases of police brutality. I guess they don’t really teach people at Columbia. I’m 100% sure bought herself into Columbia with connections and money.

Wait what? Are they legally allowed to do that? I know in the states they aren’t.
