I don't doubt about her unconditional support but at the same time it affects your relationship because while you are investing your entire life in the relationship the other person doesn't have enough time for it and it becomes disproportionate. Everyone needs their space. Also it also lead her to be bit insecure ( even Sush mentioned it when asked about it in interview although it wasn't a jibe at her). I remember those pap pics when Chhabra, Kriti, Ankita and Sush were spotted after a dinner/meeting and Ankita looked upset/angry.The tension in those pics was almost tangible. Whatever it was both could have handled it better... They were together for 7 years and about to get married. There are lot of if's..but they sadly don't really make a difference now.

While I do think breakup turned out to be good for Ankita as I saw a positive change in her with her becoming more ambitious and mature, Sush however could never find that kind of stability and security ever.With success he got lot of negative publicity which affected him and without a strong support on his side, he crumbled. He didn't give Kriti a chance and Reha was just a bad choice..

Yes I know the interview you are talking about...I have seen all her interviews that she possibly gave to news channels..in zee news one she answered it on the depression due to nepotism question that after leaving a successful show when he could wait for so long just for the right project..."usne woh choose ki line...woh ghar betha, hum dono ko films kerni thi per main pavitra nahi chor sakti thi per usne 3 saal wait kiya kai po che ka" these are her lines from the zee news interview and again about the 3 year part as I said she must have a confused memory and it just got stuck on her tongue after giving so many interviews...to be honest even I thought that his transition period from TV to films was longer even though i followed them vehemently 10 years back...as you said it was a long time ago and please see the context in which she is referring to in this matter...trying to tell people that when he had no work he wasn't depressed then how could he be one now, trying to impose a positive insight and no where implying that he lived off her money...in fact she even said that he liked to splurge as he was never a money-minded guy, it was never a motive for him and cause he had a big heart in one of her interviews.

While I do agree with you about a relationship becoming disproportionate, when two want different things but Ankita gave 5 years of her life to a daily soap that in itself is exhausting and I don't blame her if she wanted break from all that...it was little over a year when she must have not been working and Sushant started complaining about her being lazy...while she always pushed him to do what made him happy...she was not given the same feeling of liberty in the relationship and I guess that's what became a matter of conflict for them..

I never felt that she tried to project him wrong or negative in anyway, in fact even when she was asked about Rhea and his relationship she refrained from saying anything negative about it or her for that matter. Even upon asking in two of the interviews that people think that you could have saved him what do you think about it...she just said "I don't know if I could but I surely would have tried" sounding rather humble not trying to project herself as some mahaan devi.

She might have gotten the timeline wrong for one thing and it surely can be overlooked, you could see her crying and wiping her tears several times in the very same interview...but anyways you are free to perceive what you like. I just wanted to clear that she said about the "sacrifice" thing while talking about his moving into films and not referring to her own break from her career..trying to project that she gave up her career for him or anything.

So Mahesh Bhatt is clearly the one who actually encouraged her to leave then - the "wake-up call" and whatever the heck that echoed in her that she's talking about? Then why is she saying that Sushant asked her to go? Lie.
